"Ahh, that was a fun stream!" Alec said after closing their laptop. He turned around to talk with his best friend, Remi. Tommy just finished streaming. "Yeah, it was fun!" Remi smiled. Remi and Alec both are very big fans of the Dream SMP. Alec's favorite streamer is Wilbur, while Remi enjoys watching Foolish more. They both enjoy watching other content creators as well. whenever someone streams, they would watch together on Alec's laptop, and just have a great time. Remi is saving up money for a microphone, his dream is to be a minecraft streamer one day too! The two boys decided to go to sleep, but Alec stayed awake for a bit, just so he could scroll on twitter for a bit before he went to sleep. They saw a tweet from Tommy. "Stream tomorrow too chatters, see you then!" Alec smiled and went to sleep. The next morning, Alec woke up by the sun peeking trough the curtains. It was a beautiful sunny july morning, and they could already smell the croissants that Remi was baking. Remi and Alec share a home, since Remi got disowned when he was 15 when he came out as gay to his parents, and Alec's parents were pretty rich, and were always away from home because of their work. Remi was amazing at baking, he had a student job in a bakery and that made him very happy.
"Croissants are ready!" Remi peeked his head trough the door. "Im coming!" Alec stood up and followed him to the kitchen. While they were both eating their croissants, Remi was reading some messages on Twitter. "Im excited for tonight, Tommy barely streams 2 days in a row!" Alec nodded. "Yeah, true." That evening, they were both sitting in front of the laptop, watching a Markiplier video while they were waiting on the notification that Tommy was live. Hours passed. Alec started looking at Twitter, for any messages or tweets that might explain the situation. "Its strange, we didn't get a tweet that stream got cancelled?" Remi said. "True, its weird." I put down my phone. "Lets just go to sleep then." Remi nodded. "Yeah, lets."
The next week, nothing happened. Akwardly nothing. Tommy didn't tweet since then, and apparently people began to think Wilbur also dissapeared. Even Dream tweeted more than both of them. They just- were very silent for some reason. Remi and Alec weren't the only ones that were worried. Alot of Wilburs and Tommy's fans were very worried too. It was weird, but maybe they had a reason? Remi and Alec enjoyed their time watching other content creators, and tried to get the whole situation out of their heads.
Another week passed. Two weeks since the last stream from both of them, two weeks since the last tweet. They both weren't seen anywhere too. People started theorizing that they got kidnapped, or worse, they died. Alec didn't think that. There must be a reason. And then, the whole day switched upside down. Tommy and Wilbur both retweeted a post. Alec saw the notification, and screamed. "REMI! TOMMY AND WILBUR TWEETED!" Remi came rushing to them, and immediately dropped down next to him on the floor. Then, both of their hearts sunk in their chests. Wilbur and Tommy both retweeted one single post. The post was made by '@ BR678'. The bio of the person said:"anonymous police agent", and the location was Brighton. But the thing that shocked them the most, was the message and the picture that were in the tweet. "Will Gold (25) and Tom Simons (18) arrested for [not given reason]."

No one said a word. Then, Twitter exploded. Retweets, messages, confusion, nothing made sense. What was happening? Why would they get arrested? What did they do? And why does it say 'not given reason'? Nothing made sense. Even other content creators were suddenly worried. Tweet from Philza saying that he doesn't knows what happened, and is as confused as we are, tweet from Tubbo saying that he wont be streaming because he needs time to process things, tweet from Ranboo, Wisp, George, Dream, and so many others. Alec and Remi stared at each other, and then both nodded. They would get to the bottom of this. There had to be a reason. And they would find it.
