Alec sat down, and opened a microsoft word document.
They were gonna search as much evidence as they could get. People on Twitter were still freaking out. Wilbur's and Tommy's discord servers both got closed, and people started making different servers and channels and accounts just to give info about everything. It seems not only Remi and Alec were getting to the bottom of the case.
Days after days, Alec sat in front of the laptop, searching for clues.
Then, on day 5, 5 days after the mysterious tweet got posted, the user who also posted the image and the tweet about the attestation, posted a sound file. Finally, a clue.
It felt like the Wilbur ARG all over again, but this appeared to be way more serious than a silly mystery that was made for people to find out.
The sound file was nothing more than a blurry and glitchy conversation between Tommy and Wilbur, that apparently was made during the interrogation. The only words that were clear, were 'Tommy', 'Police', 'jail', 'bad', 'problem','Twitch', and the mysterious number '23'. Alec downloaded the sound immediately, and started to listen to it again and again and again.
Some words were blurred out, some of them were just too silent to understand.
While Alec was staring at the laptop, Remi came in. "Hey, you okay? People in our Discord server offered to help you with the investigation." I let of a small smile, and shook my head. "Its okay, i got this. I dont need more help." Remi let out a small sight.
That evening, when Remi was laying in bed, he was listening to the sound again, on loop. Then, he noticed something. In the sound, there was the spesific sound of.. Glass shattering! And no, it wasn't like normall glass shattering, it was done in a spesific order... Almost like.. Morse code!
Remi immediately took his notebook, and started to write down the code. The noises were spread everywhere in the 34 seconds long sound file, so he had to listen very carefully.
Then, after finding every single one, he just found a very weird letter combination. Maybe it had to be backwards? Remi tried and tried, and didn't find anything. Then, finally, he knew it. It wasn't Morse. It was binary code, but so spesifically done, that one glass shatter sound had to be the number 0, and two glass shatter sounds had to be 1. Remi went to work. And then, he found the hidden message.
It was an adress.
Remi almost fell when he sprinted to Alec's room.
"ALEC ALEC ALEC I FOUND A HIDDEN MESSAGE!" Alec stared with red and tired eyes at Remi. "What? Let me see." Remi gave them his notebook.
"The glass shattering sounds in the background. It was done in a spesific order. It was binary code."
Alec immediately opened his laptop, and wrote the adress in the word document, and sent the news in the discord server.
People started responding, and started making a plan to go to the adress that was given.
Remi and Alec hugged. Maybe this was gonna be a good clue.

The next morning, they met up with 6 other people from the server. Their names were Ant (17,she/her) , Nelle (19,she/he) , Jacob (15,he/him/xe), Mark (18, he/they) , Polly (she/vex) and Aqua (15,they/it) .
"The adress.. Is a graffiti street?" Aqua said with a confused look on it's face.
"Apparently it is, we should go trough it and look for any clues." Remi said.
The 8 of them were looking for an hour, untill Jacob found something. Xe took his phone flashlight, and looked inside of a small gap in the walls.
"Guys? I found a note." Immediately, every ran to him. "What is it?" Polly said. Jacob took the note, and screamed.
"There's- blood on that note!" Alec froze. Blood? They carefully took the note. It was red because of the blood. On the note, there were some strange symbols. "Its enderian! Let me read it." Aqua took the note, and started to read what was on the note.
"Tomorrow, arrestation for this." Alec couldn't breathe. Way too many clues, what was all of this? They still stood nowhere. The only thing that they knew now, was that all of this, had something to do with blood.
"Guys, there's more." Nelle said. He took the note carefully, and read the last sentence that was on the note. "Blame on cd."
Blame on cd? Does this mean there is a cd of the crime? "There should be a cd of the crime." Polly said. Alec decided to make a quick stop at the police department, just to get more info.
