"The Phone"

Naruto and Sasuke sat in silence. Naruto was about to get the papers for Yume's health and birth certificate. This made him even sorrower. Sasuke held his husband tight, kissing his forehead.

"Naruto?" Sakura asked, standing in her doctor coat. Sasuke looked up at her, Naruto still trying to collect himself.

"I have good news," Sakura said, sighing. She held up a paper and smiled.

"Good news, Yume, even premature, is healthy and will live a full life!" Sakura smiled. Naruto and Sasuke weren't too sure about that. "Here's her birth certificate."

-two weeks later-

An anbu walked into the hospital room as Sasuke and Naruto were preparing to leave. Naruto looked up hopefully, Sasuke at his side.

"We can't find anything else," the anbu informed. Naruto's face dropped.

"Then keep looking!" Sasuke snapped. Naruto held his arm.

"We cannot, sir. Missing persons not found within 2 weeks are considered deceased in the Konoha records. It's the rules."

Sasuke's face dropped. Naruto knew about this rule, but didn't want to worry Sasuke. Naruto clenched to his husband, tears rolling down his face.

His babies were all dead.

Kawaki made breakfast for him and his siblings. Their younger parents were on a mission with Aunt Sakura, and Sasuke left him and Sarada in charge.

(The kids all bought clothes and embroidered the Uchimaki symbol on them)

Sarada was picking up all the kids pajamas, when a bulge in the pajama pocket of Naruko's caught her eye. She picked it up. It was a phone.

She smiled hugely and raced to Kawaki.

"Kawaki! I found Naruko's phone! We can call home!" she yelled. Everyone was shocked, but Kawaki grabbed it quickly and dialed his mom's number.

Naruto and Sasuke sat at the dinner table, eating ramen. They had hardly spoken since they left the hospital. The lights were dim, matching the mood of the room. Suddenly, Naruto's phone rang. He picked it up to look at the lock screen. He gasped.

"Who is it?" Sasuke asked, drinking his water. Naruto smiled.

"Naruko!"

Naruto picked up the phone. "Naruko!?"

"Mom, it's Kawaki," the voice in the phone said.

"Are you all okay!?" Sasuke yelled. Naruto put the phone on speaker. "Where are you!?"

Kawaki paused. "It's a long story. We're all safe. We somehow are in the past, and we're staying with a child version of you and mom."

Sasuke and Naruto took a minute to process this.

After a long minute, Naruto spoke. "I will research how to get you guys back and call you when I've figured it out."

Kawaki remembered something. "Also, Yume is with us. She's very quiet and we've been feeding her formula."

Naruto's face was soaked with happy tears. "Baby Yume!" he gasped, smiling. Sasuke took the phone.

"How old are Naruto and I there?" Sasuke asked. Kawaki replied.

"About 12 or 13."

"Do they know who you are?"

"Yes, they're on a mission with Sakura now."

"What have you done?" Sasuke asked.

"We have been training with Team 7. Sparring mostly."

"So uh, who won some matches?" Naruto smirked, rubbing his eyes of tears.

"Well, Naruko beat Dad, Sarada beat Sakura, Mom beat Boruto, I beat Sakura, Dad beat Mikoto, and Menma beat Mom."

"Wow. I'm proud of your training. What you learned anything?"

And they talked on the phone for hours, mostly of Himawari describing Naruto's younger self.

Memory cried herself to sleep. Like she did every night. Ever since Naruko and Menma (her teammates) were declared as dead, she felt empty.

She had lost her crush and best friend.

And probably wasn't going to see them again.

Atena was getting bullied at the academy every day. She was always bullied for having two moms, and two "useless" moms at that. Everyone thought that. It's not true! And Himawari always stuck up for her, scaring the kids away with her sharingan. Hima wasn't there to protect her anymore.

Another short chapter. TvT Sorry guys, I'm losing motivation. I'm trying tho. Kinda. =/
