< Opposits Attract >

"Oh okay, I see how romantic you want this date to be." I smirk at her, and she can't help but blush, "You'll see, I'll get you back."
I then wink at her, and the intensity of her burning red cheeks get worse.
"Oh will you now?" She rolls her eyes playfully.
After that, we talked and chatted for what seemed like endless hours, just having a good time and eating through the entire basket together, the sunsets dim light fading away.
Every minuet I fell even more in love with this girl, every thing about her made me fall deeper for her.
"I couldn't ever imagine being here like this with you right now." She laughed, I shook my head and chuckled.
"Me either." I let out a relaxed sigh.
Suddenly I felt her grab my hand, a bit harshly, but the shock of it made me gasp a bit.
"Well you know how science puts it," She smiled warmly, "Opposites attract."
I smirk at her, and she slowly begins to get closer to me, I grab her other hand, "Oh they attract indeed."
I wink at her, the wind rushing gently past us.
We had been in this same position for too long, just looking at each other, I knew she wasn't going to try anything, knowing she's to nervous.
But I knew that I loved this girl so much more then what I thought I do.
I'll have to make the first move, again.

I slowly begin to trace my hand up her arm and around the back of her head.
She looked so red as I did that, so I did the same thing with the other hand.
"W- what are you doing?" She stammered, her eyes widening.
"Oh, I thought you knew," I smirked, "A science experiment."
I gently pushed our faces closer to each other, and both our eyes gradually closed naturally.
I pushed my lips onto hers, and...
Oh my gosh, I'm actually kissing her!?
My heart begun to pound as I begun to kiss her passionately, and it took a moment, but she begun to do it back.
Her lips were so soft, I didn't want to let go of them.
I felt her arms wrap around my neck, and she pushed her face further into mine.
That caught me off guard.. what she just did there.
We stayed there, kissing like there's no tomorrow under the moon, but at some point I had to let her lips go, even though it was clear we didn't want too.
"How was that?" I ask, feeling the heat on both our faces as I traced her lip with my thumb.

"I- I-..." She stuttered, looking as if she just noticed what we had just done.
"Shhh," I silenced her by putting my finger on her lips, "sorry if that startled you."
I then pulled her closer to me, wrapping my arms around her, holding her close to me.
"I love you." I whispered into her ear.
I heard her take a sigh of relief, "I love you more."
After a while of hugging each other, I felt a water droplet fall on my shoulder.
I push her gently away, "We should probably get back, I don't know what time it is and I think it's going to rain."
She pouted, "But I want to stay here with you..." And grabbed my hand.
"I won't be that far away, I'll see you at the lab tomorrow, yeah?" I smiled, feeling the wind and rain begin to pick up.

After a while of trying to get her to finally agree, we picked up our stuff and went back to the hotel.
As we walked down the hallway, I stopped at mine and Fan's door and she stopped and looked at me.
I grabbed her hand, kissed it and bowed, "Goodnight, m'lady." I wink at her, she goes a bright red.
"Oh! You tease." I give her back her hand, I grab the doorknob and wave at her, as she walks away she looks at me and waved back.
As I fall on my back into my bed, my head falling into the pillow, I sighed restfully.
"You good?" Fan asked, looking up at me from his phone.
"Mhm." I respond, pushing myself up and looking at him, his lamp light being the only source of light in the room.
"How'd it go," He looked back at his phone, "Your four hour walk."
Four hours!? Oh boy...
"It went great," I say blandly, trying to get comfortable into sleep.
It didn't help that Fan kept talking to me.
"Why'd you lie to me Paintbrush?" Fan suddenly said, I turned my head to look at him.
"I didn't lie, why'd you think that?" I try to play it cool, when me and TestTube were talking, she said she wanted to keep our relationship privately between us.
So I'm going to try and keep it like that, for her.
"I don't know, I'm just stupid." He said, placing his phone on the side and turning off the lamp.
"Yeah, you are." I say sternly, why'd he suddenly become so intrusive about my own business?
He didn't say goodnight, and I wasn't going to say it back to him anyway.
He ticked me off.

The next morning I met up with Lightbulb in the kitchen, Fan had got up early this morning so I woke up and he wasn't in the room, I asked Lightbulb about it and she seemed to not know either.
"So, how was yesterday?" Lightbulb started conversation as she stirred the hot chocolate powder in her mug.
"Normal like always, why'd you ask?" I lifted an eyebrow at her, as I tipped the scrambled eggs onto my plate of toast.
"Oh nothing," She said, then turning to me with a smirk, "I definitely didn't see you walking down the hallway of the hotel at eight last night, then TestTube coming back at literally twelve in the morning."

I quickly cleared my throat, harshly putting the pan into the sink.
"It was a... another science lesson we forgot to do, so we did it then so we had today to ourselves!"
Lightbulb could see how I suddenly became shaky an flustered, I heard her giggle.
"Whatever you say Painty." She took her mug, and I took my food and we sat down at the large dining table to talk and wake ourselves up.
"But honestly, I think you and her would make a pretty cute couple, you're a big, tall and menacing softie and she's just a small and nervous nerd."
I heard her laugh.
I scoff, "Don't make it sound like a romantic comedy movie."
I bit into my toast.
That's when I realised I had lessons with TestTube today.
Oh gosh... I have lessons today!? I'm gonna see her... again! After all that romantic stuff yesterday I can't possible stay calm when I see her again!

Okay calm down Paintbrush... you'll get though it.
I hope...
