THE NEWS

Today was a normal day but little did i know it would take a drastic change

 Madam Margaret was in the living room with a cup of tea in her hand softly blowing the warm breuvage , that  the door bell rang  , i was confused madam Margaret  wasn't expecting guests from what i knew .

 I looked at her confused 

She smiled ... she expected it 

Margaret : Could you opend the door dear ?

I nod , i bow then left to opend the door 

I opened  it ... nathan 

Cassie: Welcome sir 

I bow

Nathan nodded pleased and gave me his blazer

I hang it neatly and took him to the leaving room

Margaret : there you are my child 

Nathan: mother 

His voice was emotionless 

She delicately sat the cup down and stood up then hugged her son whtch he returned a bit tiff 

Margaret : sit down 

They sat down 

I looked a madam Margaret 

Margaret : what  would you like to drink ?

Nathan : coffee please

he said coldly looking at me 

Cassie: no sugar or cream and  black is that correct sir ? 

I say in a whispered  but the room was so quiet i knew he heard me 

He gave me a nod pleased 

Cassie : anything else ? 

They shake they heads, i bow and left closing the door 

I went to the kitchen ,did the black coffee and pout the cup on a small matching plate 

I went back to the living room i knok 

Margaret :enter dear 

I enter and close the door i then walk to Nathan i pout the cup on the coffee table in front of him i then straiten up stepping back 

Margaret : take a sit dear 

I was confused Nathan cold face had surprise written on it ... I sat down carefully on the end of the sofa that madam Margaret was sitting on 

Margaret: so has you both know i am leaving on a business trip 

I nod 

Nathan : yes 

Margaret : and i will not take cassie with me since she refuses to come 

Looking at me in a" i dont approuve  you chose" mom look  i lower my eyes to my lap 

Nathan: why not ? 

Probably looking at me  too

Margaret : well i will mostly be with my friend i wont have many meetings 

Nathan : no ? then why do you qualifie it has a business trip ?

Margaret : because i will be meeting IMPORTANT people !

I softly smile madam Margaret  has always  loved meeting people  but her son on the other hand ... well he isn't the most sociable person.

 I have worked for three  years for madam Margaret. Since her son was going to leave to live alone she wanted someone to be with her , I would mostly arrange her meeting, do a few reservations or just make her some tea, the rest was just to hold her company and since she knew i needed freedom and i was welling to work  soo she offered me the  job .Her son was there at the beginning and he would never talk to me he still doesn't i think he doesn't like me ...

He coff  he was getting inpatient 

Nathan : then ? what ? just give her a break and get a new assistant for your trip 

That hurts  and why is this guy so heartless ?

Margaret : you don't know her at all clearly

Nathan : no she's just a servant working for you like the rest 

My eyes became watery he was right , i am just a servant working to get my freedom but i loved working for madam Margaret she was so sweet and nice .

Margaret : your so heartless Nathan she is not my servant ! She is so nice, educated  and caring ! I love her like my own daughter ! 

That warmed my heart so much, my own mother hated me because i left to work has a secretary that was why i loved more my dad he would understand me he had left me live my freedom .

I looked up a bit 

Nathan: you're being dramatic mother your daughter ! That's ridiculous !

He was angry hell scary 

Margaret : yes MY DAUGHTER now you hear me out she isn't going to be remplace  since she's the best but since she doesn't want a break  you will take her !

My eyes widen and I  softly gasped 

Nathan : i won't 

Margaret: you told me you need a secretary, she knows your tastes , we work similarly , she knows our big investors why wouldn't you take her ?!

Nathan: because ...

He glared at me ,i shift under his gaze sinking in the sofa, i wanted to cry by how meanly he was glaring at me , he then left a sigh.

Nathan: fine 

He deadpan 

His mother squeaks  while my eyes widen in shock 

WHAT !  THE FUCK ?! ME HIS ASSISTANT ! 

Margaret: that is okey with you dear right ? you can still come with me to my business trip...

She had a small smirk , she had planned it all !

I grown softly i had no choise didn't i ?

Cassie : yes madam 

she smiled brightly satisfied 

Margaret : great get packing !!

I open my mouth ? now ?

I nod stood up i bow then left to my room

                                                    ?!  WHAT HAD I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO  ?!
