Wandering into the Unknown

One day a girl named Mackenzie Duchannes who lived in autria germany in a little town called spring field ,and she wasn't supposed to go out wandering because of the nazi war. But one day she got curious and since her mom wasn't home she figured what will it hurt if I just go wandering its not like theres anything out there thats really bad. But what Mackenzie didn't know was that there were some very very bad things out there that she just wasn't quite ready to understand about the world yet.
So anyway Mackenzie decided to pack a little satchle of food incase she got hungry along the way so she headed out into the foggy morning air into the woods. As she was wandering the tangles of vines interlocking through the trees,the birds chirping their beautiful songs she stumbled upon a river ,and if you crossed the river there was a little fence that looked like it was surrounding a camp like thing. Mackenzie decided to investigate as she was walking the perimeter of the camp she could smell smoke and then she came across a boy who was wearing ripped and tattered clothing that strangley resembled pajamas ,and Mackenzie almost laughed at the fact that this boy was wearing pajamas so late in the afternoon.
She decided to walk up and try and talk to the boy. At first he just stared at her like she was an alien ,and for a second she almost thought he spoke a different language ,but the he responded and said "Hi." "Whats your name?"asked Mackenzie. The boy replied "my names Matthius whats yours?" "Mines Mackenzie." She answered.
