Jake (LetTheJayPlay) POV

My fingers twitched nervously on the keyboard as the UHC lobby filled more and more. I could recognize a few names from previous matches, but none really popped out as overly significant. I kept my eyes on the bossbar, which showed how many people had joined the match.

10....

12....

13....

It was a standard match of twenty-four with no teams, so I was sure this was territory for seasoned experts.

Like myself.

Especially recently, I had been practicing his archery skills to the max. Many maps offered a chance to train your keen eye and arrow targeting. After hours of grinding and grinding, I had finally passed the final level in less than a minute.

But, those thoughts aside, my fingers danced on the keys as I did the lobby parkour, failing more than once. Glancing at the chat, I could see he already had a competitor.

Logan23c: Lol JaySoccer you suck at parkour. Have fun running from me.

I typed a reply, adrenaline fizzing in my bloodstream.

JaySoccer14: When I'm running from you, I'll be sniping you B)

Logan23c: That's not happening becuz I'm going to kill you before you can even get wood.

I couldn't think of a good reply, so I tried the four-block jump, failed, and started the parkour again. Who knew if I would need these skills in the game.

Logan (awesomesauceoreos) POV

With a smug grin on my face, I left the spawn, headed toward the signs that you could join games at, and joined a UHC match. It was solo 24 players, so I didn't expect much. I had always won with my swordfighting supreme. But I seemed to flop at mining and finding diamonds, but that doesn't matter. . .because I still can kill a guy and get their loot.

Quickly, discovering the game wasn't very full and we had a long time to wait, I became bored. There was a parkour, so I tried it out. It was simple and I easily hopped up the jumps, bypassing a four-block job, ladder parkour, fence parkour, and ice parkour sections. After finishing it, I looked back and saw a wimp trying out the parkour.

I typed a taunt into the chat.

Logan23c: Lol JaySoccer you suck at parkour. Have fun running from me.

He was quick to defend himself.

JaySoccer14: When I'm running from you, I'll be sniping you B)

Good luck with that. Speed pots for me!

Logan23c: That's not happening becuz I'm going to kill you before you can even get wood.

Jay didn't reply and I laughed triumphantly. I was already winning.

Olivia (Livhock) POV

With a small sigh, I found a match and joined. There were only six people in it, but I was willing to wait. I mean, I'm already going to be playing for an hour or two. Why not just wait a while longer?

I saw some banter between to players in the chat and was tempted to delve in, but I decided not to. Making an enemy in UHC is probably the worst thing to do. Okay, maybe second; after dig down.

I swivled my mouse, looking around the lobby for something to do. Parkour was boring, so I just clicked out of Minecraft and entered Goodle Chrome.

I had a long wait ahead of me.

Jessica (LetTheJayPlay) POV

Jess elbowed her siblings. "Now, get out of my room. I don't want you looking over my shoulder as we play!" she complained. They Left with their laptops in hand, whispering to each other.

We were in the lobby of singles UHC. I was waiting with excitement. I didn't play this game much. Minigames like the Building Game on hypixel or Draw my Thing on Mineplex appealed to me, but after a lot of begging from my siblings, I decided to join them in a classic game of UHC.

I was OK at PVP and bowshots, but building was still my thing. I always was lucky with mining as well, which is the reason I made pixelart out of diamonds and gold in my survival world. So maybe- just maybe I had a chance.

Ember (xXEmberThePhoenixXx) POV

With a sigh, I finished my Mineplex round of One in the Quiver by shooting down three players in a row. A dragon roar announced my win with twenty kills, towering over the puny 12 and 9 of the second and third place winners. Proudly, I left the lobby and decided to go to a different server.

After a while, I decided to switch to Badlion and try something I didn't play often. UHC.

I entered a singles, 24-player match and was surprised to see how empty it was.

Looking at the clock, I confirmed that it was late enough that nobody would but into my room and interrupt my game. It was my turn to win.

Hi guys! Don't fret if your character wasn't in this chapter, as we will have 24 people and can't make 24 POVs per chapter. So, you should be the next chapter or two if you're not in this one.
