Logan (awesomesauceoreos) POV

After I had got over the initial shock of being inside Minecraft, I got down to business. The Wither would take too long to fight, so heads would be easier. I would go for the kills. I mean, you would just respawn- right? The admin was just trying to scare us.

I was currently finishing up my crafting. "Stone axe, a pic, and a sword," I muttered. "Oh, and a shovel." I broke the crafting table with my newly crafted axe and started to chop down the oak trees in my spawn. I seemed to be in an endless, oak and birch forest with no reeds!! Or animals! No cows or sheep were nearby.

I was already running out of food as I painfully walked everywhere, wishing for an animal to pop up. Finally- I heard some oinks and followed the sounds to a small group of pigs in the trees. As I played them, I nearly fell off and lost a heart or two, but I managed to leap onto another shorter tree.

"Dammit," I swore, knowing I had lost half a heart. I suppose its better than taking more damage . .or dying. I hadn't considered that possibility until now- that is, of death in this game. I just had a cocky assumption that I would win.

I headed down into the caves, willing myself for the luck that never came. As I was caving, I started to think. The chances of me meeting a player made me the least worried.. like if they want to team, I'm gonna end up having to decline it which would make me a target, and in this case I do not need to be targeted.

Emmaldt_ was blown up by a Creeper!

Oh god, poor noob. Probably wasn't gonna last long anyway. But she, or he probably had a friend or two in real life. . .wait STOP! I can't be thinking like this, I need to be moving on, not moping for some random person I don't even know.

I continued mining, and once the cave ended I had 39 iron ore and 11 gold ore with 52 Coal. "Damn, that was a good run. That cave was useful, but I now need to start smelting this stuff." I got my crafting table from my inventory and craft 5 furnaces and place them down.

"Geez, I didn't know how stressful actually being in Minecraft makes my body feel like when crafting" I said, stretching my back. I shoved all my stuff in the furnace and let it cook.

Red (Error-Unknown) POV

I was amazed at the quality of my spawn. It was an oak forest, filled to the brim with animals. I started by collecting some wood, then went on to kill some animals. I felt just a little bit bad as I listened to pigs squealing and cows snorting before I stabbed them with my sharp, wooden sword. I had never felt sympathy before being in the game, I reminded myself.

I found a small lake and collected the patch of reeds that was next to it. I just seemed to be lucky today. . .

I staircased down, closing the passage behind me with dirt so nobody would follow me. After a minute of struggling to see in the dark, I found some coal and lit up the area. The heat from the torches helped to warm me up in the damp darkness of the cave.

There was a tiny patch of iron at the end of the coal vein, and I quickly collected it, then smelted it in my furnace. I made a pickaxe and continued to staircase downward.

After what seemed like forever, I finally got a small cave and went into it, already planning my route.
