A long time ago, there where a secret society made up of seven types of peoples, each with a special ability, a gift. There was Fire, Water, Air, Ice, Time, energy, and on more race. This one was special; There where only 6. The Elements. These where the people who had the very rare gift of mastering all the elements. One day, the most powerful element in S.T.A.R. base, Shadow, wanted to become more than a normal element. So, he ran away, and no one knew where he went. but everyone knew what he had done. He had gotten a hold of the Staff, a powerful weapon that changes what you are entirely, and made him no longer an element. Just raw power. But, it also changes who you are. Shadow became overcome with greed, and he took over S.T.A.R. base, leaving only five dead.. The elements... But, before he had launched the attack, he wasn't aware that a new element had been born. An element named David. He had no last name. during the attack, his parents put him in a capsule that travels under ground. It was to take him far, far away. To a place called El Paso, Texas. Where Shadow would never find him. That child, is me. My name is David, and I was put on this earth to seek revenge of my family. I am also here, to same the earth.
Fourteen years later..
I woke up in my uncomfortable bed, as usual, with my body aching. I hear the faint sound of an alarm going off, and within seconds it grows louder.
"David! Time for school!" A warm, familiar voice shouts in a happily manner.
"I know, mo-" I was about to say mom, but she isn't my mother. I want her to be.. I wish she was.. I wish I even knew who my real mother was..
"umm.. I mean, I know, Sarah" I corrected.
"why don't you ever call me mom?" She asked.
I got up and took off my shirt to put a new one on. I sleep in shorts and a T-Shirt.
"Because that's not who you are" I say, which I regret immediately.
"Sorry.." I say
She frowns. "Just get dressed".
