Lestat made his way downstairs to the sitting room of the shared home, with the newfound information he needed to fix things. He saw Louis and Claudia in the room already and smiled. Louis was reading a book, seemingly enjoying his literature. And Claudia was softly playing the piano as Louis read. A lovely tune that made Lestat proud of her, he wondered then if Melodia had any interests outside of spending her time with Claudia and things like that. Shaking that thought away though, he approached the other two vampires.

"Ah, just the two I wanted to see!" Lestat said with a bright smile, grabbing their attention immediately as he spoke.

Louis raised an eyebrow at Lestat's demeanor, just moments ago he was with Melodia. What he had to say must have been important enough to pull him away from her for a short while. They were always together, as though they were stitched together and had known one another forever. He saw how they looked at eachother, cared for one another. It was love, and he knew that very well. He and his late wife had a bond like that when he was alive and she was with him.

Claudia turned around in surprise, huffing at who it was and crossing her arms with an angry look on her face. Lestat knew why she was upset, he had interrupted her play-date with Melodia. But she would just have to deal with it until he could make it up to her. Instead of keeping the two waiting for an explanation for his presence he decided to cut straight to the point.

"It has come to my attention that we are in desperate need of a family discussion. There have been many... problems.. leading up to this point from everyone, and I believe it would be best to work through our problems." Lestat said seriously, the smile only partly there to seem friendly enough to reason with.

"Is this family discussion mandatory?" Claudia asked with a small huff. Receiving a stern look from Lestat.

"Yes, Claudia. It is indeed mandatory. Especially if you would like someone to keep playing with." He replied with the same level of defiance while to Melodia, the girl's 'mother'. Which resulted in the girl complying very grouchily, mumbling about how he'd been the one to interrupt the play date anyways. And how she should have no obligation to this discussion of his.

"Is there anything in particular that brought you to this conclusion? Or have you finally found a voice of reason?" Louis joked halfheartedly with him. A knowing look on his face as he read his book again.

Louis had unknowingly given away the fact that  he had eavesdropped on Melodia and Lestat. And Lestat had picked that up immediately after it had been hinted at even in the slightest. But that would be saved for the discussion. "I suppose you could say I've reconnected with said voice of reason. However it seems one of us has disconnected with ours. Eavesdropping, Louis? Really?" Lestat said, raising an eyebrow in brotherly disappointment.

"Yes, well, you are the one falling in love with my undead sister. Who, if I do remember, refuses to even speak to you." Louis pointed out bluntly.

This made Lestat think for a moment, falling in love ? It sounded like another one of the man's novels. Perhaps they were rotting his brain despite the fact that he too was undead. Yes, that must have been it- But if that were true, why did he accept the idea the instant it was said? Perhaps.. perhaps he may have fancied her. He was uncertain. And for the first time in centuries, he was speechless. He had no witty comeback or words at all for that matter. Instead he quietly excused himself to mull over the possibility.

This shocked the two in the sitting room, Lestat was never quiet unless he was contemplating something. And when he contemplated things.. the ideas he would get were quite.. stupid to say the least. Louis and Claudia exchanged looks of confusion and looked to the doorway as he left, even leaning as he had made his way to the study of the home. This was odd behavior indeed.

Melodia stared out the window of Claudia's room where she was left alone. Just barely hearing snippets of the conversation that Lestat was having with Louis and supposedly Claudia as well. She then heard silence, which made her curiously sneak halfway down the banister like a child watching a party from afar. Only to see Lestat making his way to the study and hear stunned silence and slight shuffling which she could only assume was Louis and Claudia curiously shifting in their place.

After the shifting turned to silence, Melodia made her way sneakily to the study. Cursing her heels for every slight click they made as she moved. But as she peeked through the cracked door it seemed that she hadn't disturbed him whatsoever. He was staring out the window, his features cast in a golden glow from the flames of the candles that lit the room. It was mesmerizing to look at him, as he was so peaceful..

She could take the time now to see how his wavy blonde locks reflected the light of the flames, and how his posture was refined and made him look as though he were royalty. How his shirt and short vest fell over his silhouette  perfectly. And how his blue eyes gazed out the window almost in longingly.

"You have the same habit your brother does.. don't you, Dearest?"

She had been caught...
