The next day at school was actually pretty normal. No one said anything about my dyslexia almost as if no one even knows about it. Anyways today is the day that Addi and I are being tested for cheer captain and co-captain.

We walked into the gym together and put our stuff down. Addi then blew her whistle to get everybody attention.

"We are so fired up to be running cheer practice. Together we can do anything!" Addi said to the cheer leaders. They all seemed to be scared of something though. I looked at Bree and she pointed behind us. We turned around to see some of the wolves sitting on the bleachers.

"This space is for cheer practice only!" Addison said to the wolves.

"Addison!"

"Yeah? Well try to get us to leave!" Wynter stated.

"Wynter. Some respect." Wyatt said to her.

"No I don't want you to leave. I want you to join us. The cheer team is for everybody." Addison said making me smile. I waved the wolves over to join us and eventually they did.

*cheer routine*

I noticed as I was falling back down that my spotters were on the floor and no one was there to catch me so I closed my eyes and waited for impact. It never came though. Instead of hitting the hard gym floor I felt someone holding me. I opened my eyes to see Wyatt looking at me. I smiled and thanked him as he spit me back on my feet. Addison then came running over to us.

"That was so amazing! You guys are all natural cheerleaders!"

"What can I say we wolves work well together." Wyatt said.

"But we're not wolves." I stated confused. Wyatt just gave me a look that I couldn't decipher. Wynter then started coughing and her necklace started glowing a sickly green color. I ran to her side to keep her from falling to the ground and asked someone to get me my water bottle. She drank some than thanked me as Bucky walked over to us.

"With the wolves on the cheer team this election is so in the bag!" He stated

"Bucky not everything is about politics. We've always just felt like cheer could unite." I said to him.

"You guys are gonna make a great cheer captain and co-captain."

Me and Addison squealed hugging each other.

"We're gonna me captains!"

"We were thinking the cheer team could move beyond trophies and we could start an out reach program-" I started to say before Bucky cut me off.

"Woah. Cheer is what I say cheer is about.. and it's about winning."

I just looked to the floor before I felt something grab my hand. I looked up and it was Wyatt! He was holding one of my hands and one of Addisons.

"You guys are a leader. But if something a lot greater then cheer." Wyatt said to the both of us. Addison then looked to the doors and saw zed. He walked out and she ran after him.

"I think you just caused some trouble in paradise Wyatt." I said to him. I got this feeling of jealousy in my stomach. I think Wyatt likes Addison. I don't know why I care though it's not like I like him. Right?

"What do you mean?" He asked me.

"Well you obviously like like Addison and I don't think Zed appreciates that considering that they are together."

"Whoa slow down there pup. I do like someone but it's definitely not Addison."

Ouch. That hurt. I think he could tell too cause he looked at me like something was wrong. I cleared my throat and excused myself to go home for the day. He called my name as I was walking out but I ignored him.

The only thing I can think about is Wyatt liking someone one my way home. That when I finally realized..
