"You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be"

"Best. feeling. ever." Said Stanley as we all threw out our school work into the trash cans right in front of the school.

"Yeah? Try tickling your pickle for the first time." Richie said as he zipped up his backpack. This time no one laughed at his joke.

"Hey, what do you guys want to do tomorrow?" Asked Eddie putting his backpack on. "I start my training." Richie said as he fixed his glasses that had fallen down his nose.

"Wh-what training?" "Street fighting." "Is that how you want to spend your summer? Inside an arcade?" "Beats spinning it inside your mother." Richie fires back, making only me laugh. His hand comes up for me to give a high-five then goes to Stanley who shoves his hand down.

"What if we go to the quarry?" Asked Stanley as he ignored Richie. "Guys we have the B-B-Barons." Says Billie as he leaned onto the trash can.

"Right." Says Stanley quietly. "Betty Ripsons mom" says Eddie looking over at the lady who stood in front of the school.

"Is she really expecting to see her coming out of that school?" Says Stanley as everyone's attention went on her.

"I don't know but I feel bad for the woman, her daughter is missing." I finally say joining in on their conversation.

"You think they'll actually find her?" Asks Stanley "sure in a ditch all decomposed covered in worms and maggots smelling like Eddie's mom's underwear." Says Richie as I notice Bill's face drop. I elbow Richie lightly and he looks at me like I'm crazy.

"Shut up." Says Eddie looking away from Richie. "She's not dead. She's m-m-missing." Says Bill moving a little closer to Richie.

    "Sorry Bill. She's missing." Says Richie fixing his glasses again as we start to walk. "You know the barons aren't that bad who doesn't love splashing around in shitty water."

    Henry grabs Richies backpack and yanks him down hitting Stanley too who also falls to the ground. Patrick grabs Stanley's hat thingy, I never really learned the name of and throws it through a bus. "Nice frisbee flamer."

   Belch burps in Eddie's face shoving him into me while Henry gives Belch a death glare for hitting me. They have never bothered me but I think Henry's the only reason why.

   Henry then shoves Bill's shoulder as he's walking by. "Losers."

    "You s-s-suck bowers!" Yells Bill making Henry's gang stop. "Shut up bill" whispers Eddie.

    "You s-s-s-say something B-B-B-Billie. You got a free ride this year cause your little brother." Henry says stepping closer to Bill which makes me step closer to have Bills back.

    "Rides over dumb bro." "Henry, stop it. Dads here. And you know what will happen if he finds out. So let's go." I say stepping closer to Henry than he was to Billie.

    "This summers gonna be a hurt train for you and your faggot friends." Henry says licking his hand and wiping it on Bills face.

    "Come on you dumb fuck." I say angrily grabbing Henry's arm and dragging him to Belch's car. I get into the front seat waving at my friends before buckling. "Richie! Pick me up before we hang out tomorrow." I yell to the boy before Belch drives off.

"You know guys. You don't have to be bitches to my friend group 24/7." I say to them leaning my head on the door.

"Then it wouldn't be fun. There the losers. What would we be if we didn't bother them?" Says Belch looking over at me as we get closer to my house. "I'm a loser! So it's kinda fucking unfair if you guys just fucking avoid me while your shoving the shit out of my friends."

"Well if we bothered you Henry would fucking kill us and we like you." Says Patrick adding onto what Belch Fucking said.

"Yeah whatever." I say getting out of the car and walking into my house. "Have fun torturing more kids." I yell at them like a sarcastic asshole.

"Morning Mag." Says Richie jumping on my bed. "I said get me when we're heading to hang out not wake me the fuck up."

" you'll fucking survive. Wanna watch a movie." Says Richie holding up a horror movie. "Fuck yeah."

"I didn't see Henry when I came in." Says Richie looking at me. Henry hates the guys but he knows he can't stop Richie from coming over so he's the only one that Henry would allow in our house when dads gone.

"Yeah he went out with his friends earlier this morning and woke me up to say goodbye." I inform Richie as I turn towards him and he gets in my bed.

"What do you think about going into the sewer?" I ask Richie, nervous about going into it. "I'm fine with it. Are you?" He asked seeing my kinda nervous expression.

"I mean I'd do anything to help bill but what if there's something down there that we shouldn't find or what if we all get seperated and lost." I say it all coming out at once.

"It'll be fine. I promise I'll be by you the whole time." Says Richie his hand brushing mine lightly to reassure me.

"I'm glad you're my best friend." Says Richie which surprised me because Richie never gets Sentimental. "Me too." I say looking back at the tv.
