"Boss, Jerry, has something your going to want to see."

"Ok, Williams, I will be right there."

I couldn't help but to think how much my new partner is like Danny. Well actually my new partner is Grace. She filled her dad's shoes when he disappeared. She has been working with five-O for a year. I knew Danny would not like that. I keep her safe and she is very good at what she does.
I know she misses her dad. He has been gone two years. I walk over to the smart table.

"What is it Jerry?"

"I found some chatter on the human trafficking case from two years ago. They are looking for a buyer for a blond hair and blue eye man. His traffic ID is DET. DW. BN7576. SCI Five-O."

"Set me up as buyer. No person deserves that."

"Boss, I am on it."

I hoped we would get these guys. Two years it took to get a brake. I then looked at the Traffic ID. The number stood out BN7576. Then I looked harder but said nothing. I wrote the number down.

"Done, you have a solid ID and your in."

I went to Danny's office. I opened the top drawer to his desk. I had put his belongings in it. No one went into the office. I found a notepad. I wrote the ID number on it.

I felt a shiver down my spine. I kept it to myself. In case I was wrong. Tani, Junior, Lou, Adam, and Grace was looking at the case. I wrote down what I found on second sheet of paper. In case things went sideways. I then walked out of the room.

"Grace, come with me they just sent directions."

Grace was driving Danny's car. But, I always drove when we were working. But, this time I took my truck. I had Grace wait down the road.

We made it to the wear house. I then walked in. I saw where they were. "So, my name is Alex." I said in a Australien accent.

"Here is the one you requested."

They brought him in. He just stared at me. That is when he was shocked and they injected him with something. I paid them. I walked over to DW and they handed me the shock Collar remote. I put it in my pocket. I shut it off as I did. I checked for a pulse. I then picked him up and went to my truck. I had put him in the back seat. I drove far enough away. That I got out and then fixed my front seat. I had his head laying on my lap.

I called Grace. "I need you to follow me to the hospital. Tell everyone else to move in."

I hung up. I put my other hand his chest. "I got you buddy."

I knew it was Danny. I felt stupid for not putting his disappearing with the case we were working on. I am stupid. I made it to the hospital. I got out and picked him up. Grace was behind me. I carried him into the hospital.

I sat in the waiting room after saying he was a human trafficking victim. Grace didn't figure out it was her dad. I got so mad that I threw a chair. I then sat down and got the remote out of my pocket. I noticed the key that was hooked to it.

I was allowed back and sat with him. He opened his eyes to look at me. I took the key and unlocked the collar. I saw burns. I touched him. He flinched and then he looked scared.

"I am not going to hurt you."

I got the doctor so they could finish the test. I walked out to talk to Grace. This wasn't going to go well. I knew it wasn't.
