"Come on Silver! Where are you?"
Silver tried to hold his breath as he curled himself in a ball. He tried to silent his sobs as he wiped away his tears quickly, hoping that if he stays silent they will just go away. "Don't run now Argent! We know where you are!" He heard their voices and an arrow flew by him landing in the tree next to him.
He quickly picked himself up as he ran between the trees ignoring the voices following him. A twig snapped behind him causing him to look but he missed a branch making him fall on the floor.
He knew he was defenseless as he looked up to see their smirks staring down at him. "Let go of me!" He screamed as two of them spread his arms apart and held him down. "Stay still." The last one told him aiming Silver's bow at him, "On the count of three. One, two," Silver closed his eyes looking away.
"Three."
🐺
Silver is distracted by the voices in his head as he walks down the steps in school. He tried to keep his mind off the reoccurring nightmares but he just couldn't shake the fact that the memories still scarred him and now with Scott, he just didn't want to mess anything up.
Silver glanced up to see Scott at the end of the staircase making a smile appear on his face. "Hey." He said meeting him at the last step. "Hey." Silver looks down to see his phone in his hand, "Busy?" He asks.
Scott looks at Silver confused making him point at his phone and Scott nervously stammers out a response, "No, no, it's just, uh, my mom. She's nothing." Silver frowns, and Scott, realizing he misspoke in a way that sounded really mean, tries to backpedal to make up for it, which comes out even more awkward. "I mean, it's nothing. Uh, I'm never busy for you."
"I like the sound of that." Silver chuckles, "I have to run to French class, but I wanted you to know that I'm coming to see you play tomorrow." Scott's eyes widen in surprise and smiled alarm at this news, "You are?"
"And we're all going out afterwards-- you, me, Lydia, Jackson, Allison... It's gonna be great. Tell Stiles to come, too." Silver quickly says before brushing past him as he says goodbye, "Uh, save me a seat at lunch. I gotta go!"
The bell rings, and Silver quickly rushes to his locker, spinning the combination lock until he can open it to grab his stuff for his next class. However, he immediately frowns at the sight of something in his locker and reaches out to grab it.
"What the hell?" He mutters holding the jacket he wore to Lydia's party. Silver is clearly unnerved by the appearance of the jacket he had misplaced and he anxiously looks around to see if anyone is watching him, though he doesn't see anyone.
Just then, the late bell rings, scaring him so badly that he literally jumps and clutches his chest with the same hand holding the jacket. He sighs when he realizes that it's nothing to be afraid of and sighs as he returns her jacket to the locker and grabs his notebook.
