Humans tend to overthink that lead themselves to doubt their decisions, regret was one of the common issues found in most.

Kim Rok Soo is indeed just a human. And just like everyone, he have his own regrets in life.

"Team Leader-nim!"

His health was starting to deteriorate the more months pass by, Kim Rok Soo could only look up at the Grade 1 monster who was also looking at him.

It was a black bobcat but it's body have blue prints of a cheetah, and it painfully reminded Kim Rok Soo a lot of his hyung-nim.

"What is it that you want? I'll do my best to give it to you if you promise to not wreck havoc."

Kim Rok Soo didn't bother to scream his words, since a monster with that rank can easily hear him with no problem at all.

The bobcat gave out a huff before going close to the raven, its snout came face to face with Kim Rok Soo as everyone could hear the animalistic growl.

The Grade 1 monster laid in front like a house cat, it's tail swishing slowly back and fort before talking.

"There is a famous story somewhere. A commander sacrificing himself to save the others but he wouldn't let his lover sacrifice the world for him."

Kim Rok Soo visibly flinched at the bobcat's words but remained silent about it. Jung So Hoon looking worriedly at their Team Leader whose eyes started to become more sunken than it is.

The bobcat then talked in a different language making the people nearby confused, leaving Kim Rok Soo trembling in his stead.

"Cale Henituse, aren't you regretting it?"

He really shouldn't regret, but the gnawing feeling inside kept eating his sanity as the scene from that day kept replaying in his mind.

So now, he decides to be honest for a short while.

"Of course I'm regretting it." He says in Rowoon language before continuing, "There's nothing we can't even do anything about it."

"But do you wish to see them...him...again...?"

Kim Rok Soo stared at the feline orbs of the monster, a feeling of danger suddenly lingers in his gut.

"What do you mean by that? State what you want already and leave." Kim Rok Soo snarls before the bobcat let out a hollowed laugh.

"You are just as tenacious as what the higher ups says! How amusing!"

"Team Leader-nim!"

The opened mouth of the bobcat went and swallowed Kim Rok Soo wholly, making his team scream in urgency as they attacked the Grade 1 Monster.

Kim Min Ah led them to retrieve their annoying of a team leader and so, she opened bobcats jaw with bare hands and looked at their team leader whose hands have thunderbolt-like fire burning the inside of the Grade 1 monster.

"Kim Rok Soo! Take my hand!"

Kim Rok Soo looked before reaching for her hands, a sense of déjà vu creeping.

He almost reached her, but almost was never enough as several hands latched in his ankles, pulling him to the other side.

Kim Min Ah's entire arm is about to get torn apart and so, Kim Rok Soo pushed her away to avoid doing so.

A faint, silver dome enveloped Kim Min Ah entirely as it protected her from being harmed. She looked desperately at Kim Rok Soo who was still fighting his way out, a thought fleeting by.
