Epilogue

Paris, the city of love, truly befits its name as the streets were full of people evidently in love. There were a lot of couples on a date, roaming around the city to bask in its beauty.

"Where should we go next?" Jimin asked, checking his phone for the itinerary. He was in charge of choosing the best places to visit since they had a couple of days to spend for themselves.

"Why are you asking us? You said you're the one in charge." Jin answered, teasing the younger.

"I would appreciate a bit of help, you see." Jimin retorted.

They have already gone to a couple of cathedrals with stunning architectural designs around the area and discovered the rich history behind every structure.

"Let's visit the Louvre Museum next." Jin suggested afterwards.

"I was saving that for tomorrow, but I guess it's better to go there today for fewer people." Jimin agreed.

"Hopefully." Namjoon joked. Famous tourist places like the Louvre would never not have a crowd.

The walk was tiring but the magnificence that welcomed them was every ounce worth it. Taehyung could not stop himself from gawking at the sculptures and paintings inside the majestic museum.

There was a crowd in front of the Mona Lisa, which was something to be expected.

"I need to get a picture with the Mona Lisa." Jimin uttered, firmly.

"Are you sure about that?" Namjoon asked, pointing the long queue.

"The hell I am!" Jimin said, rushing to squeeze in the line.

They could only shake their heads, seeing the determination in his eyes.

"I'll be looking around, then." Taehyung said.

"Okay. I'll call you when we're done here." Jin uttered.

Taehyung vanished through the crowd. As much as he appreciated the painting of the Mona Lisa, he was more interested in viewing sculptures. 

One particular sculpture caught his attention. It was of a winged man seemingly aiming to kiss a woman. There was intimacy in the way the two figures were sculpted, screaming love and passion.

Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss.

Taehyung smiled upon reading the name, remembering the story of Eros and Psyche. It was one of his favorite love stories in Greek mythology.

It was a story that highlighted the importance of trust, perseverance, and most of all love.

"Wonderful, isn't it?"

Taehyung flinched, surprised to see a man, probably in his fifties, standing next to him. He was looking at the sculpture as well in admiration.

"It is." Taehyung responded after a while.

There was a long silence that befell between them before Taehyung found the courage to glance over the other once more.

Looking closely, Taehyung somewhat felt like he had seen the man before somewhere. 

"Is it your first time here?" the man asked, gazing back which made Taehyung look away.
