it's a beautiful Saturday in October, fall is matthew's favorite time of the year, and his little girl seems to love it too, matthew, you and little madison are going to the pumpkin patch to find some pumpkins for your house and one big one for madison and matthew to carve, you all put on your fall attire , matthew is wearing a orange sweater with a big smiling pumpkin on it and tan pants, you have on a white sweatshirt with a black cat and a ghost on it and black pants, and little maddie has a purple sweater that says "daddy's little pumpkin" on it and little black pants, and pack up the diaper bag and head to the car, strapping little maddie in the backseat and matthew handing her a toy to play with on the car ride, it's a stuffed rumple buttercup matthew made for her.
"are you ready for a fun day my girls?" matthew asks as he puts on his seatbelt on.
"yes" you tell him then look back at your little girl.
"ok, onward we go!!!!" he says in a funny voice making maddie giggle.
matthew drives for 48 minuets and pulls into a parking spot close to all of the pumpkins.
matthew puts his little girl in her purple stroller and locks her in pulling the cover over her head then gives her a little kiss on her forehead.
you meet them on the side of the car.
"ready"? matthew asks.
"i'm ready, i just have to put this under the stroller" you tell him as you start to put the diaper bag, he takes if from you and puts in under the stroller.
"wow look at all the pumpkins!" matthew says happily.
"punk inns" madison giggles.
"it's pumpkins my little candy corn" matthew laughs using his halloween nick name for her.
you walk deeper into the patch and there are more and more pumpkins.
madison starts to get squirmy and babbling a lot, grabbing at things that are near her.
"maddie don't do that you are going to get hurt" matthew tells her.
"mine!!" she whines as matthew takes her hand away from the branches she is grabbing at.
"no honey you will get hurt" he tells her.
she keeps whines more and more as matthew keeps pushing the stroller through the patch, she is squirming more too, trying to unlock the seatbelt that is holding her in place.
"oh no!! we have a squirmy wormy!!!" matthew yells playfully.
you look at your little girl and smile as matthew unlocks her.
"would you like daddy to carry you around and we can look at the pumpkins and pick out the best ones?" he asks.
she giggles and babbles "yes"
"oh here we goooooo!!!!!!" matthew yells out picking the little girl up and spinning her around.
madison laughs happily.
"i guess i will push this around then" you say sighing and looking at the stroller.
"what's wrong honey?" matthew asks.
"well it's kind of hard pushing this around out here, but you know that, your the one that's been pushing it." you laugh.
"hold maddie, i'll put it back in the car" he smiles at you.
"are you sure?" you ask.
"oh yes, today is going to be a really fun day, and it won't be fun for you if you are pushing this around" he tells you as he folds up the stroller and put the diaper bag on his shoulder then kisses you on the lips and little maddie on the head.
