i think new years with matthew would be like this.

at 7:30pm we have on our jammies that matthew had made just for us, matthew's is a white shirt with rumple buttercup on it and the pants are white with little rumples all over them, mine is a light pink night gown with a rumple buttercup on it.

we have pizza rolls, cookies, popcorn, chips, water and sodas.

we have everything on the coffee table ready to watch the new year's rocking eve on tv.  

by 8:00pm we are all ready to watch the show we have a big blanket over us as we watch.

by 10:00 i am getting tired, matthew and i are already laying on the sofa his arms are wrapped around me as we watch the show.

when it's 11:55 matthew wakes me up "it's almost new year's baby"

he gets up and gets the champagne and pours some in two glasses.

we watch the ball drop then we kiss and drink our champagne, then when the new year's song play's we slow dance to it in the middle of the living room "happy new year y/n i love you"

y/n: " happy new year matthew, i love you too"

after we dance matthew carries me to our room and we both fall asleep in each other's arms ready for a wonderful new year.
