Wooyoung sat on the couch. It was finally the weekends which means he can do whatever he wants for 2 days. Except, his uncle was home that day...
"You're on your phone again? All you do is play your phone. Do you not know how to study? Are you that dumb? I use my money to send you to school for you to learn." He heard his uncle voice out from the dining room and he groaned. He hated his uncle with every fiber in his body. The only reason he was there in the first place was because he had no where to go and didn't want to have to live in the streets or something like that. It didn't suit his image.
"Whatever." Wooyoung rolled his eyes and walked out of the house. He could hear his uncle's shouting in the distance but he really could care less about what that old fucker have to say. It was always the same. It's like he was a broken CD player.
He sighed and looked through his contacts and landed on Yeonjun- his first option, always. Yeonjun didn't seem to pick up the call. So, he dial his second choice, Changbin. Again, no answer. Lastly, he dial Serim's number and Wooyoung thanked the heavens he replied.
"I'm actually at the library right now. I'm studying." Was what Wooyoung got in reply.
"Can't you do that later? Let's hang ouutttt"
"Can't do. My exams are in a few weeks."
"You're one of the smartest fuckers in our grade. You'll pass. Just come on. I never get to hang out with you.."
"Sorry Wooyoung.....maybe next time." Wooyoung sighed. He was now in front of a café and was about to go in when he got a text message from.........Hongjoong.
*Text*
Hongjoong hyung: We're going out for dinner. Wanna come? Yunho is paying ;>He stared at the text for a good 5 seconds, contemplating on whether he should tag along. He tried listing some reasons as to why he can't tag along, however realized there really was nothing. Wooyoung was also incredibly bored.....so he agreed.
The restaurant was much much much further away than Wooyoung thought. It took him almost 2 hours to reach. But hey, anything for free food, right. He stood in front of the small chicken shop, hands deep in his pockets as he looked around, trying to spot some familiar faces.
"I only asked Mingi? Why the fuck did ALL of you come!?!" Wooyoung heard a voice that sounded quite like Yunho's.
"Because, you're buying it." He heard Jongho. Wooyoung spotted the small group of males walking in his direction.
"Hey." Wooyoung did a small wave once the group noticed his existence. San tan towards him and hugged him.
"I didn't know you were coming!"
"Hongjoong hyung invited me. I didn't have anything else to do today, so I came." Wooyoung shrugged. Without waiting any further, they went into the restaurant and sat at what the others called their "usual seat".
"Ah! My favourite people are here- and I see you've brought someone new. Who is this fine young man?" A female that looks like she was in her mid 60s approached the table with open arms, suffocating each of them in a bone crushing hug; including Wooyoung.
"Hello grandma. That is Wooyoung, he'll be having dinner with us today." Yunho flash his grandmother- Wooyoung presumes- a big smile.
"I'll double the usual, for the guest." Yunho's grandmother winks at them and they all cheered.
"You're the best, grandma!!!" Mingi should, earning a small chuckle from the lady.
"That's your grandmother?" Wooyoung asks Yunho, now confused since Mingi addresses her the same way as well. Yunho nods before explaining "mhm. They all call her grandmother. She insist on it. You should, too." Wooyoung smiled wide, feeling the odd feeling of being accepted.
