FIVE BOYS, the Party, sat around a table, which held up a game of Dungeons and Dragons. They had been hidden in Mike's basement for the past 10 hours, hanging onto said boy's every word as they played through his campaign.

"Something is coming. Something hungry for blood," Mike said, dramatically. Will and Charlie shared a nervous and excited look, before quickly looking back towards the raven-haired boy.

"A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in the darkness. It is almost here," he continues.

"What is it?" Will asked excitedly, leaning forward in his seat.

"What if it's the Demogorgon?" Dustin suggests.

Charlie leaned back in his chair, grumbling in frustration, as the rest of the party let out complains.

"Oh Jesus, we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon," the curly haired boy continued, putting a hand to his head to rub it.

"It's not the Demogorgon!" Lucas assured them. From behind his folder, Mike picked up a playing piece.

"And army of Troglodytes charge into the chamber!" He called out, slamming the piece onto the board.

"Troglodytes?"

"Told you!" Lucas replied, matter-of-factly.

The five of them laughed, thankful that it wasn't the Demogorgon.

"Wait a minute..." Mike began, quietly, looking around. Charlie sat up straighter in his seat, eager to know what would happen next.

"Do you hear that? That... that sound? Boom... boom... Boom!" He finished, smacking the table with his hand, scaring The Party.

"That didn't come from the Troglodytes, no, that came from something else."

Everyone was sat up in their seat now, anxious to hear what was creating that noise. Charlie looked at Will once more, silently asking him what he thought it could be. The boy slightly furrowed his eyebrows, telling him he had no idea.
