Andy and I were still talking at least once a day and things had become flirty again and even phone sex sessions when he wasn't around Laurie. He was trying to plan a time to get away from her and work to come to Ohio to see me. He said he needed to see me, touch me and hold me again. He felt empty without me in his arms. I was sitting in my bedroom getting ready to go into work that night when my cellphone rang and it was a facetime.
"Hey babe." I said seeing Andy's face.
"There's the face I needed to see." Andy said let out a sigh. I could tell something was wrong.
"What's wrong Andy?" I asked and he sighed.
"You know how we were planning on me being in town next week?" Andy asked and I nodded.
"Yeah I was really looking forward to it..." I trailed off.
"I'm not going to be able to make it. We just picked up a big case and it's all hands-on deck." Andy said and I half nodded.
"Job comes first Andy and we both know that." I said and he nodded.
"I know I just hate that we had so much planned." Andy said and I nodded.
"I know, we will work it out eventually. Maybe I will pick up some shifts at the piano bar. I have had a stroke of writing genius lately." I said and she smiled.
"I wonder why?" Andy asked and I smiled.
"I don't know, could be something to do with this amazing man I have been talking to that makes me feel amazing." I said and Andy groaned.
"You have no idea how good I am going to make you feel when I finally get to you." Andy said and I moaned and laid down on my bed and he laughed.
"What are you doing now?" Andy asked.
"Getting ready for work." I said. I then ran the camera down my body to me just laying there in my bra and panties. I heard a growl from Andy.
"Alaina...." Andy moaned and I smiled.
"Problem Mr. Barber?" I asked.
"Yeah....I'm about to quit my job and the next flight to you." Andy said and I laughed sitting up.
"It will all be here when you eventually get here." I said and he nodded.
"I have some news for you too when I get there eventually." Andy said and I nodded.
"Can't wait." I said and looked at the time.
"I have to go Andy, I really have to get ready." I said and nodded.
"I love you." Andy said and just like every time he said it butterflies took off in my stomach.
"I love you too." I said with a smile. I blew him a kiss and hung up. I had fallen into the Andy Barber trap again and I knew he would never leave Laurie but this man had a hold on me that would never let go. Even on the dates I had gone I couldn't stop thinking of Andy. Janie finally stopped trying to set me up when she heard we were talking again and somewhat serious. I put on my pale-yellow romper pantsuit I had. It had a small V-neck and I easy to play in. Once I had on my heels that went with my outfit I headed out the door since my hair and make up were done. Once I got to the club I saw Janie and she smiled at me.
