Here's a sneak peek of what I have done so far for my next MCU/Disney crossover thing.

Inspired by the Little Mermaid. HulklingxWiccan (TeddyAltmanxBillyKaplan)

I haven't decided if I'm going to post this once I'm done, or wait until next year when the Live Action Little Mermaid comes out, (since the remakes have added scenes I usually like to include). It's up to you guys really. If I get enough people asking for it, I'll post it, if not I'll wait until when I feel like it. Either way, enjoy!

The blue of his powers was hidden by the flashing of the fireworks and he was able to find a handhold in the wooden shell of the boat. He climbed until he could grab a rope and hoisted himself up so his feet were propped on a couple of portholes while his arms folded on the deck below the rail hidden by the slats of wood. On the deck were Skrulls. They had varying skin tones which struck Billy as odd, as he thought Skrulls were all green with scaly skin. Music that he didn't recognize was playing while men at the bow launched more fireworks coloring the night sky. Other Skrulls were drinking and laughing with merriment. Barking mixed with the music and Billy turned his head seeing a dog running through everyone's feet. No one seemed to mind the loose animal meaning it must belong to one of the Skrulls. Billy chuckled at the idea of a Skrull child begging their parents for a puppy the same way human kids did. Then the dog stopped and started sniffing the air. It's golden fur covered head turned to Billy and the young mage ducked out of sight. He waited a minute before peeking over the edge only to be met with a slobbery kiss across his forehead.

"Max!" someone called and the dog ran off. Billy raised his head higher and his eyes followed the animal as it answered to it's name. the golden retriever jumped up excitedly and rested it's paws on the strong chest of the sailor who'd called him.

Billy's heart stopped.

He'd never seen anyone like the blonde who was now playing with the dog. His hair was windblown in a very attractive way as some of it hung in his blue eyes. The smile on his face was infectious and full of pure joy. His chest was strong enough to take the weight of the dog leaning on him but his arms, abs and every other part of him looked just as strong. And to top it all off he looked completely and utterly human, you know, aside from being supermodel material. The dopiest grin appeared on Billy's face and he couldn't have fought it off even if he wanted to.

The last of the fireworks finished and the men from the bow joined the others wishing them a happy Alliance Day. Some of them passed by the young man and his dog greeting him as 'Prince Theodore'. Another Skrull, one who actually looked like a Skrull, in a very professional and pressed plum suit came and rested at the rail right above Billy. The young mage hunched down, moving his feet so he could sit on the edge of the porthole. The Skrull looked a bit queasy and a deep chuckle neared before Billy caught just a glimpse of Prince Theodore as he approached and patted the man on the back.

"Oh please don't do that sire." The Skrull begged hanging on the rail.

Theodore chuckled again, "How are you holding up Kl'rt?"

The Skrull gave the prince a look to which the royal just chuckled again in response. The dopey smile returned to Billy's face as he craned his neck back and rested his head against the wood of the ship watching the handsome young man.

"Kl'rt try to enjoy yourself, we're celebrating our Alliance with the Kree after all. It's a big day."

"It would be a bigger day if our people could also celebrate a long awaited engagement." The advisor not so subtly hinted at.

The prince rolled his eyes and shook his head before he rested his forearms along the rail. Billy was close enough now that he could see the tendons of muscle all the way up to his elbows where the cuffs of his sleeves were rolled to. He never knew a forearm could look so strong. It made him wish he was wrapped in those arms, being held tight. His throat suddenly went dry.

"Oh come on Kl'rt, please don't start." He begged looking out at the night sky.

"I hate to be a nudge sire, or a thorn in your side. But you know as well as I do how overjoyed the people would be knowing you had someone to share the burden of ruling with."

"I'm not interested in some arranged political marriage Kl'rt. I want to meet the right person." Theodore said as he leaned forward more, below in the shadow Billy half hoped he was concealed enough by the darkness, while the other half hoped the prince would spot him. That their eyes would lock and. . .

Kl'rt scoffed and shook his head straightening up as he folded his hands behind his back, "The 'right person' for you is someone who can help you rule your people."

Theodore's nose scrunched, "Nah, I want it to be the one. . . l want what my parents had."

"Well are you looking hard enough?" Kl'rt asked his tone sounding more supportive.

"Believe me when I find him I'll know." Theodore responded and Billy straightened up in surprise. Him? The prince shared the same preference that he had? Billy tried to keep his heartrate in control though it still felt like it skipped a beat which felt very odd in his chest.

"It'll be without a doubt and just. . . hit me. Like lightning."

On cue a deep rumble filled the air and all three turned and saw a bolt light up the sky.

"Storm brewin'!" one of the crew shouted as the captain started giving out orders. "Stand fast! Secure the riggin'!"

Kl'rt and Theodore ran from the rail, immediately hopping into action. Billy climbed the side to peer through the slats in the rail again as the Skrulls rushed around the deck manning their positions trying to lower the altitude of the ship before the storm caught up to them. The sky darkened from it's serene navy blue dotted with stars to a sinister black as the clouds rolled in and covered all light, even the moon. Raindrops began to pelt against the ship making the decks slippery to walk across never mind the running the crew was doing. There was indistinct shouting back and forth as they all worked and Billy gripped the side of the ship as hard as he could as the wind picked up. He wasn't sure he could levitate back to the ground miles below with this strong gust blowing him around and the rain blinding him. The rope he was gripping burned against the skin of his palms as he held on tight for dear life. The ship blew back and forth like a pendulum and the rocking only made the situation worse. Billy's foot slipped from its foothold and he slid right off the rope falling into the air. With adrenaline racing through his veins he tried his best to focus and succeeded in slowing down his fall but he was still moving pretty quickly when he hit the ground and got the wind knocked out of him. He could already feel bruises forming along his spine as he laid in the wet grass as more rain pelted his face. Another bolt of lightning lit up the sky and in the next second the balloon of the airship was struck and caught fire. Losing it's air quickly sent the ship nosediving toward the ground and smaller black dots – escape boats floated away from the dying vessel. Billy pushed himself up onto his elbows and lifted one hand; a ball of blue light appeared surrounded by wisps and he tried to remember what his mother taught him about breaking into someone's mind. If he was closer it would be easier but thankfully since no one was around for miles his powers could only go to so many people. The thoughts that he picked up in his head were all jumbled most of them were instructions.

"Steady."

"Hold."

"Lean to the left."

"Where is his royal highness?"

That last one caught Billy's attention and he recognized the thought as Kl'rt's. focusing in on his tone it quickly became clear that Theodore was not with his guardian. Billy looked back up to the sky where the airship was perfectly visible, mainly because it was half engulfed in flames. Swallowing nervously he soared back into the air, the weather made it difficult but the airship was also now much closer to the ground which helped. Billy was able to grip onto a broken plank of the wooden exterior. He held on so tight he felt splinters prick his palm as he threw out his other hand and tried to pick up the thoughts of Theodore. A singular thought wave jumbled with terror filled his head. Breakthatboardweakenthefloorgetmyfootoutheatpain

He was trapped, Billy realized with dread.
