[Beacon Hills High]

"Scott where are you going?" Stiles yells down the halls to his best friend, chasing him past the crowds of students walking through the brightly lit tunnel of lockers.

"To find Malia!" He shouts back, "Her and Willow's scent disappeared from the school and I can't hear them anywhere in the building!" Stiles and Lydia eventually catch up, telling Scott to stop for a moment, the smaller hazel-haired teen noticeably trying to catch his breath.

"Malia could've just gone off to do her own thing, and Willow could've just left for the day, Scott." Lydia tosses her own thoughts into the mind salad that is Scott's brain, worrying him even more that even the Banshee of all people doesn't know where they went. However, if Malia was in danger then Lydia would sense it, right? Scott tried to believe that was the case, but the sense of urgency and fear wouldn't escape his mind.

"I can't take that risk, if Malia is in trouble I have to find her!" Scott whirls around and runs out of the school with the other two hot on his trail, "Stiles, go talk to your dad, tell him we might have a suspect for the murder last night!" The True Alpha calls from across the school parking lot.

"Scott! Wai--! And he's off, of course." Stiles groans in tandem with the roar of Scott's bike exhaust, rather frustrated. "Okay, let's just go talk to my dad, we may as well make some progress on this week's episode of Mysterious Forest Murder in Beacon Hills." He turns to the strawberry blonde who had followed him and Scott out to the parking lot.

"I'm going to head back to class actually, the only class I have today, when it's over I'll meet you back home, okay?" Lydia rests a comforting hand on her boyfriend's arm, gently caressing it to calm him.

"Alright, see you later." He lent a kiss to her rosey cheeks, his breathing slowed a little more at the affection, and his frustration dissipated enough for him to start making his way to the Sheriff's Station, while Lydia heads back to her single class.

[Derek's Loft]

"Did you say 'Halwyn', or am I hearing you wrong?" Isaac asks Willow to clarify the name, eager to make sure the one she gave wasn't just a flick of the past playing on the strings of his ears.

"Yes, his name is Halwyn, why?" Willow shows a hint of hesitation in her voice, noticeably concerned as to why everyone suddenly went silent. The worst thoughts and possibilities rose in her mind, she tried to hold onto hope that maybe they just went silent because they recognised the name, and knew where he was. The nightmare could finally be over. "Do you know him?"

After a pause, Theo responds, "We do." While the excited Willow perks up with a beaming smile, Malia sinks into herself, leaking on the oak desk and doing her best to avoid eye contact.

"Yes!" She shouts to the air as the weight lifts from her chest, "So where can I find him? Just tell me where he is, and I'll get out of your hair forever, you won't have to worry about any of this again, I promise!" She quickly makes a promise to leave when she reunites with Halwyn, an excited chirp in their voice that just screams relief and excitement. In fact everyone could've sworn that they saw tears of joy swelling in her forest eyes, split by the small strands of hair that fell over her face in her ecstatic movement. The room falls silent once more, not even Theo willing to say anything else he be responsible for the impending shatter of Willow's heart. Malia finally speaks up, turning off from her wooden support.

"Beacon Hills Cemetery. He's in Beacon Hills Cemetery." The colour drains completely from Willow's face, her eyes expanding like they had been possessed by a demon in a Ouija movie.

"...what? Stop messing with me! Where is he!?" Willow shouts, their voice trembling and quaking. She could feel the weight on her heart seeping into their chest, the slightest movement might crack the chair under the gravity of what she was hearing.
