The Dark

[In the Woods]

"Should we really be doing this..? I mean nothing happened so they're not a Supernatural, and I'd rather not take another trek through the forest after midnight during a full moon," Isaac pushes the gate open that they saw Willow climb over, and begins to walk down the path leading into the outlying forests of Beacon Hills

"Yes, we should, we've got to make sure they're actually going home" Scott peers behind a tree, seeing the long, wavy hair of their acquaintance flowing behind a tree in the cold wind, Willow begins to run a bit faster through the trees, nearly running face first into some because they weren't looking where they were going.

After following them in silence, Isaac questions Scott on a particular issue, "Hey, so if they do turn out to be something, like a hunter, what exactly are we gonn do? Sic Malia or Liam on them? Put them in a mountain ash cage? And speaking of, why didn't you let her come with us? She seemed pretty eager to help" Isaac pans his vision around the trees, the fluttering of birds startling him.

"Well to answer the second question, the few of us the better, less noticeable, besides there wasn't any point. As for what we'll do...I haven't a clue quite honestly," his face goes deadpan and he locks eyes with Isaac's confused expression.

A noise causes them to snap out of their conversation, the rustling of a man coming out of the brush catches Scott's attention, until Isaac's scream of pain causes him to whip his head around to find the source of the beta's pain. The glint of an arrow in Isaac's hand, pinning him to a tree, catches Scott's eye and memory. As he pulls it out Isaac shifts to prepare for a fight. 'This is not bringing back good memories..' Scott thinks to himself, "Isaac! Run! Follow Willow!" But he gets cut off by a girl jumping down from the trees. The girl's hair was an ash blonde, grey eyes and a brown and red cloak covering her slumped shoulders, she was carrying a spear that appeared to be made from a dark stone, similar to what the arrow was made from. Another two cloaked figures appeared from the shadows, one carrying a bow and arrow and the other carrying two axes on his belt.

"You two keep this one in his place, I'll catch up to the other one," The one with the axes commands to his partners, before running off towards the direction of Isaac, and by association; Willow.

"Don't move little one, we'll hurt you less~" the girl grapples Scott to a tree, leaning her spear to his throat, the other male drawing an arrow from his quiver with a chuckle and keeping it pointed to Scott's head.

"Well, no we won't! heh heh!" The Eclipse begins, the earth's shadow veiling over the surface of the moon in the night sky, the axe man running through the forest, eventually catching up to his target.

"Willow! Willow where are you!?" Isaac slows down due his powers being eliminated, he scans the dark toned opening of the forest as a small whimper echoes. Isaac quickly turns to the direction of the pain, he sees an older girl in running gear slumped over a rock, gasping and with a massive gash in her gut, shattered bone jutting out from it due to her back arching on the rock.

"H-help..m-me..." Isaac runs over to her, quickly calling 911.

"Oh god..Hello!? Yeh I need an Ambulance!" The girl and the man with the bow and arrow start to twitch, their eyes glowing a bright blue under the dimmed moonlight.

"Mmm skinning you alive sounds pretty good right now~", the girl taunts Scott, who's still pinned to the tree, inches from having a gash in his throat, the man starts to giggle and snarl, drooling from tusk-like fangs.

"No, I'd rather crack his bones open and lick them clean of their marrow!" Both of them are interrupted from their fantasy by a snarl coming from their supposed leader.

"I lost him, we need to head back home, the eclipse has started and we won't be able to track him any further without control." A groan of annoyance is expressed by his fellow creatures, as they lower their weapons.

"Awww, but can we atleast kill this one! He looks so tasty!" The girl cries but gets immediately shut down by her leader.

"N-No! We d-don't have time for your games, the E-Eclipse has s-started! We leave, now! We'll deal w-with him l-later!" He turns around, and sprints off on all fours with a roar, and the other two glance back at Scott before joining their leader in the shadows. Scott sighs, his confusion overwhelmed by concern when he hears the call of his Beta.

"Scott! Come here! A Girl's been hurt!" He runs towards Isaac, and sees the dead girl in his arms, his body slumping with sadness, "I-I found her l-like this..I swear! I swear it wasn't me!" He tries to comfort Isaac from freaking out

"It's okay! I know..I think I know who did it too.." A roar is heard in the distance, ambulance sirens wailing as they near..

(Notes: I'm sorry that this particular chapter doesn't have much plot advancement in it, and doesn't have many different characters, I just needed to introduce some characters we'll be seeing in the future. I said this last time, and failed to fulfill my claim, but I will hopefully finish Chapter 4 tonight and have it published by morning. Hope you all have a great holiday season too! ^-^ as always leave criticism and stuff! And once again sorry for any typos, I'm tired, and I didn't read through the whole thing after I dropped it for a couple weeks, so I'm not sure if there is any ;_; Cya!)
