"Debt"
Adam cowered on the cold tile floor, and even colder sweat breaking out across his pasty, pale face. Desperately, he scrambled backwards, his bulging eyes never leaving the masked figure before him. Looming over him.
The figure was fairly small and remarkably slender, however, there was something about it. Perhaps it was the calm way it sauntered into Adam's house or the way its voice rang in his ears. One thing Adam did know was this. The masked creature before him deserved to be feared.
"Ten years, Adam." It hissed, blue eyes flashing behind the mask. "I saved you from cancer in return for ten years. The deal was that after that I would claim your soul as mine. Now I have come to collect my debt..."
"I'll make a new deal!" begged Adam. "I give you those ten years back!" The Masked One cocked it's head in confusion. "How will you-" Suddenly the Masked One froze as the front door slammed and Adam's ten year old son entered the house. Behind the mask, his lips curled into a smile.
"You really are a Dark Horse, Adam. Deal."
