{Ch 1} A new guest

At midnight in the rainy storm, a lady all soaked was running through the rocks and paths to get away from her threat. "Get back here!!" The voice behind her screamed, but she kept running as fast as she can to get away from the threat. The lady ran faster and faster until she looked and saw the edge of the cliff. She stopped herself and turned around to see the shadow figure walking close to her. She stepped back before she didn't feel the ground anymore. The next thing she knew, she was falling. She screamed as loud as she could but no one could save her. It was a very long fall before her back cracked due to the landing. She laid there paralyzed and feeling nothing anymore.

(The next day...)

Toadette and Toad were walking down the path near the rocky cliff below as they kept chatting. "I'm telling you Toad, the beach is better than the woods!" Toadette said seriously. Toad looked at her confused then replied, "Oh come on, the woods is a great place to chill out! Plus we can camp there, make s'mores, go fishing-" Before Toad could finish he noticed Toadette staring at something that made her look scared. Why is she so scared about? "Hey, are you ok? Toadette?" Toad asked before he turned to where she was looking. He saw a lady's body laying there still and frozen. Her body looked all soaked and damaged by whatever threat she faced. Toad started to shake then said, "It looks like a girl..." "A girl who needs our help!" Toadette finished sentence for him. "You go get Mario and Luigi immediately!! I'll make see she's still alive!" Toadette yelled as Toad nodded and ran away. Toadette ran up to the lady where she was laying them kneeled beside her saying, "It's going to be alright ma'am, the Mario Bros will save you. Just hang in there." Toadette grabbed the lady's hand as she tries to keep the lady alive.

(Meanwhile...)

Mario and Luigi were walking around near mushroom kingdom to keep on guard. "So brother, how do you feel about Princess? Have you figured out how to ask her out?" Luigi asked. Mario looked at him then responded, "No I haven't yet. But hopefully we'll have a peaceful date if I ever get the courage to ask her out." "You should bro! You have been trying all that you can to ask her out but no thanks to Bowser, you couldn't get that chance! But I think now is great time to do it!" Luigi said with encouragement. "Well..." Before Mario could say another word they heard yelling from someone, "Help! Someone help us!" "It's Toad!" Mario said. "Is Bowser already here?! Did he hear what I said?!" Luigi asked with fear. "No, no! It's not Bowser! It's trouble! Someone needs help! Come quickly!" Toad said as he ran away. Mario and Luigi ran after him without any questions asked cause they knew that when there is trouble, it's no joke.

(Later...)

Toadette stay close to the lady as she still tries to help her stay alive. "Come on, please just hang on a bit longer ok? Toad is gonna-" Before Toadette could finish what she had to say she heard Toad screaming, "I brought them! I brought them! The Brothers are here!" Toadette had a sigh of relief knowing that it was going to be ok now. "They're right here!" Toad yelled as he looked at the lady again. "We're here! What's going on? Is Bowser back?" Mario asked before he looked at the lady then stood there shock. Luigi caught up then noticed the lady too. "Omg, is she ok?!" Luigi asked with a scared and concerned tone in his voice. "She's still breathing, but she won't be for long if we don't get her to a hospital!" Toadette said with a worry voice. "Alright, we'll take her. Thank you for telling us the urgent news." Mario said as he lifted the lady up into his arms then jumps super high. Luigi soon followed him as Toad and Toadette looked at each other knowing everything's going to be ok now.

(Later at the hospital...)
The lady was laying on the hospital bed then soon woke up to a panicked mood. She looked around wondering where she was now, she looked like she was in a hospital bed attached to a ECG. It was beeping from the sound of her panicked heartbeat. She kept looking around when she noticed the door was opening. She saw a lady in a pink down and blonde hair straight or curled down. "Hello there ma'am! How are you-" Before the Princess could finish, the lady screamed, "No! Please don't hurt me! Please I'm begging you!" The Princess looked at her with terror as she replied, "N-no ma'am! I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you. My name is Princess Peach and I'm here to make sure you were alright. Mario, Luigi, Toad and Toadette founded you beat the cliffs but they saved you from your horrible fate. That was when the lady wondered to herself, "Wasn't I dead from the fall? How am I still alive?" "Your going to be alright ma'am, it will take time for you to recover though. Once you feel better, I will take good care of you until you feel like your ready to be back on the road." Princess Peach said. The lady nodded then said shyly, "You can call me Camilla, your majesty." Princess Peach nodded then smiled as they got to know each other a little bit. As the lady slowly recovered within hours, Princess Peach took Camilla to her castle to help her rest there until she was fully recovered. Peach and Camilla were walking into the hall as Peach said, "Welcome to my castle Camilla. I'm sure you'll love it here for a while sense I'm taking care of you. You'll be taken care of until your fully recovered. Sound good?" Camilla nodded then replied, "Thank you so much Princess but isn't it a bit too much? I don't want to be in your way.." Before she could continue, Peach said, "Don't think like that Camilla. I don't mind having guests here, it kinda does get lonely here in the castle sometimes when Mario or my friends are away not gonna lie." Camilla gave a sweet smile then said, "Thank you so much Princess." Camilla bowed then Princess said, "Oh no no Camilla. You don't have to bow, it's my pleasure helping people in need! The clothes are over there if you want to change, and the shower is this way." As Princess pointed the direction where Camilla is supposed to go. She gave a smile then replied, "Thank you so much Princess." With that said and done, she head to the room before she heard Peach saying, "I'm vase you need anything, don't hesitate to ask me for anything." Camilla heads to the bathroom then thought to herself, "She's so sweet. The first stranger I ever met in months who is very nice to me. I wished I could return the favor for her."
