My friend asked me to draw Marilyn Monroe in my style, and my reference was her drawing and a really talented artist's drawing from a book. I tried, and tried, but it doesn't look like her. I will admit, changing something that looks realistic to a cartoonish look (my style) is extremely difficult, and you can see the result
This is a redraw of someone else's drawing, the same friend from above's friend. It was hanging on her wall, so I did my own version. The original was colored, but I didn't have my tools available besides a pencil, shader, and my sketchbook.
Um, heh, this is a ridiculous drawing that I started, originally supposed to be a drawing of my friend from above, but I gave up and drew this guy. His name's Captain Uneven, Crooked ___ Carl!
Random junk, but they don't look THAT bad. (Still pretty bad)
