A new journey

Muichiro pov:

Ok so it was morning and I'm already awake but only because I'm starving. If Yuichiro was here, he would have been doing his usual complaints but he's not so I'm not used to it so I miss him. Ever since I escaped I could barely remember stuff for some reason. It must be because I got hit in the head multiple times. Oh well, I have to eat and stop thinking about that until I get emotional and cry.

After I ate I decided to keep moving in other words, get farther away from the orphanage. The more I move the better since there is possibly a higher chance they won't find me. I'm one of the best kids in the orphanage so who knows how many people are after me. While I was walking I was lost in my thoughts that I bumped into someone.

"Sorry, I didn't see you because I was lost in my thoughts, my deepest apologies." I exclaimed.

"It's fine, but where are your parents or are you just on a walk?" A old lady asked.

"I'm just on a walk, don't worry" I replied with a small smile.

"Oh then stay safe dear, this is a dangerous town after all" the old lady said.

"Oh I will, thanks!" I said waving goodbye at her. The old lady obviously waved back. Not gonna lie, the old people that worked at my orphanage were rude and grumpy but she was nice. I love this town already!

I walked for a few more hours trying to explore the town I would be in for a few days. While exploring I saw something, I saw a missing poster. At first I thought it would be someone's pet or kid but it just had to have a picture of my brother. Did those adults really think that picture on the missing poster was me? I wished we weren't identical twins, maybe nobody would have been confused in the first place. I didn't really want to get caught so I need to think of a plan and fast, I feel some eyes on me already. I got the wanted poster and thought to myself, why don't I just pretend that my twin is missing and that I'm looking for him! You know, for someone that is getting memory loss I'm actually still smart.

I got hungry again so it was probably lunch time. Should I eat what my brother packed or just order was my main question. After making my decision I decided to eat what my brother stored. Not everyone is going to agree but my brother is the number one best cook in my opinion. As I was walking to find somewhere to rest I found the perfect tree to climb when I'm bored and to put my tent next to. I barely any sleep yesterday since I had to escape so might as well sleep while I have the chance.

I woke up in the afternoon obviously bored so I went outside to walk. One of the things I liked to do was look at the clouds so I got a empty space somewhere in the hill. After a while of staring at the clouds I fell asleep.

"Hello, hello? Cmon, wake up already!" A worried voice called out.

"Huh?" Was all that camed out of my mouth.

"Oh your still alive, that's great to know!" The same voice said but in a cheerful tone this time. "Why are you sleeping here, it's not safe, especially at night." They said back to being worried.

"I was just napping" I replied.

I faced to look at her in the eyes and she was pretty. Her hair was pink and green, she had green eyes, and she was wearing a skirt that matched her shirt. Her hair was in braids, but instead of two it was 3. I've never met someone like her if I'm being honest. The kids that were in the same orphanage as me didn't know anything about good taste in fashion.

"Um, where are your parents or are you alone?" She continued still worried.

"Alone" I said without thinking. It just slept out, Muichiro you idiot, think before talking, just like how your brother taught you!

"Oh no, are you lost or did you ran away!?" She asked.

I can't lie to her now, she knows I'm alone and if I tell her I'm lost, I might go back to the orphanage.

"Wait, aren't you the missing girl from the poster!?" She shouted out.

"Girl- What are you-" but before I could finish talking I realized that I looked like a girl. "Im not a girl but I think I am but please don't tell anyone" I continued with puppy eyes.

"OH! My apologies and I won't but it's better if someone was taking care of you so if it's alright with you, I can be the person to do that" She replied.

I pleaded with joy after her response and couldn't help myself but to hug her. I thanked her a million times that she haded to calm me down.

"My name is Mitsuri Kanroji, what's your name?" She asked.

"Mine is Muichiro, it's nice to meet you." I replied with a soft smile.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Muichiro!" She cheerfully said. "If its alright with you Muichiro, you will stay with me!" Mitsuri said.

"Thank you, Mitsuri." I said.

"The pleasure is all mine!" Is all she said.
