Took Me By Surprise (Niall Horan)

Chapter 2

I stopped in my tracks when I saw Niall.

Poppy gave me a strange look but I told her all about the text afterwards and how I liked Niall.

I can't believe i never told Poppy that I liked Niall, I mean I know I haven't told anyone but I swore I told my best friend.

Anyway I glanced over to him again to catch him staring at me and he looked away blushing.

Why was he blushing?

His mates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, James Carnell, Zayn Malik and Ashley Brown were all staring at me.

It's not like I had murdered anyone oh my gosh. I nudged Poppy and indicated at Niall's friends. "What are they looking at?" She said slowly.

"I, don't, know." I replied.  

I got out my phone and scrolled through my contacts till I saw one name,

'Niall:)'

To: Niall:) 

Hey Niall um just wondering why all your friends are staring at me and Poppy we kinda feel intimidated....:)x

From: Niall:) 

Heeeyy Ally, sorry there just being weird. Why don't you come over and meet them?? I would like to talk to you??xx

To: Niall:) 

Um okay but I'm really shy:(x

From Niall:) 

Ally it's fine come over? Please?xxx

"OMG ALLY HE PUT THREE KISSES !" Poppy screamed. 

"Poppy shut up!" I whisper shouted. 

"We'll are you gonna go over there?"

I thought about it for a second. I looked over and saw Niall smiling at me. Why does he want to talk to me? Fine ill go over but I'm really nervous.

"Okay I will." I told poppy. 

"Yaaayyy." She replied.

We started to walk over when I tripped over a stone and fell flat on my face.

I can't believe I just did that.

I laid there on the floor humiliated as everyone started laughing. I sat up and ran off tears blurring my vision unable to see where I was running.

I could make out the corridors just and went round by the lockers. I slid down the wall and put my head in my knees. Why did I just do that, I can't believe I was that stupid.

Niall's P.O.V

She started to walk over to us when she tripped up a rock and fell straight onto her face.

Everyone started laughing at her but she sat there crying for a few seconds before she took off.

Poppy went to run after her but I caught he by the wrist. "Poppy ill go." I said sternly. She mouthed okay and I started running.

I didn't know where she would be but I searched the whole school. I finally heard tears coming from the lockers that sounded a lot like hers. I walked over to her. Wow she still looks beautiful when she cries.

"Ally, are you okay," I said to her looking down on her.

She looked up at me.

Wiping the tears away from her eyes she spoke,

"What oh yeah I'm fine you know just allergies that's all."

Allergies. That was a lie. I really feel for her I mean, being humiliated in front of half the school is not a nice feeling. I've been there.

*Flashback*

It was year 6 when we had out SATS exams. I was really nervous. I stood there waiting in the line ready to go into the hall where there was half a dinner table each all spaced away from us.

"Okay in you go then year six and good luck, have you all gone to the toilet?" Her high Irish voice spoke.

I raised my hand.

"Miss I need to go toilet." I said embarrassed.

"Looks like you've already been Mr Horan." She laughed.

I looked down at my pants realising they were wet. I didn't know what to do I just stood there crying while all my class mates stared at me.

We then moved to California to make a new fresh start.

*End of Flashback*

I sat down next to her so our body's were touching. I got this weird feeling run through my body when out skin touched. I hadn't felt like this before.

I eventually broke the silence between us.

"Look Ally, I know it's not allergies okay I've been there but hey look its not that bad, they'll all forget about it soon okay."

"No they wont, looks like im the new laughing stock of the school". she said while another tear escaped her eye.

I dont really know who she is but i met her on the french trip with the school. My friend gave me her number so we could talk more but i dont know, there's just something about her that intrudes me.

"Ally look at me!" I said quite sternly.

She turned her head and looked at me with her now red and puffy eyes.

"Theres nothing wrong with crying okay, i know this is hard but i know what you are going through" I admitted to her.

"How" was her response.

I paused.

Should i tell her?

What if she laughs at me?

I cant have this spreading round the school again, i just cant.

"Well?" she asked cutting me out of my thoughts.

"Err...if i tell you please dont tell anyone, just please dont." I looked at her pleading with fear.

"I promise i wont, im not that kind of person, I dont have time to spread rumours." She replied with a small smile approaching upon her lips.

"Well in year 6 i-"

I was cut of by the bell ringing signalling school had started.

"Look ill catch up with you at break yeah?" i asked her standing up offering her my hand.

"Erm yeah okay...where?" She asked looking at the ground taking my hand.

I pulled her up from the ground and let go of her hand.

"Tennis Courts?" I asked with hope.

"Okay can Poppy come?" She basically begged.

"Yeah course." I smiled and walked off to my form.

I looked behind me but she wasn't there.

Why do i feel nervous around her, its not like i fancy her or anything.

I opened my form door and sat down.
