001 are murderous butterflies in many different colors and no matter how much you damage their wings they would be able to fly anyways (unless you take them off).
001 kills by hanging onto the victim although one may not be fatal but still very dangerous their feet secretes acid strong enough to melt any organic material. They may not attack when unprovoked.
001 seems to show that it could be domesticated we are not able to test it out currently due to supply issues from the 145 incident.
Experiment 145 experiment 145 is an experiment on 145.1 and 144.1 the two were oblivious to what's happening until 144.1 was pushed against a tree a flock of 001 had already started desintegrating 144.1 while 145.1 watched 145.1 tried to help 144.1 but gets attacked by the flock instead. 001 seemed to only be attacking 145.1 on the head before 145.1 collapsed somehow still intact. 001 decided to go back into the hive and nothing else happened.
