The next day, Peter was shining a woman's shoes outside a cafe. She was reading the papers about how well (Y/N)'s candy has been lately.
"Pity about that chocolate fellow, (Not your name-- (Not your name)," the woman tried to remember the name
"(Y/N) Wonka," Peter said
"That's the one. Says here in the paper her new candies aren't selling very well. But I suppose maybe she's just a rotten egg who deserves it."
"Yep."
"Oh, really? You ever met her?"
"I did. I thought she was great at first, but then she didn't turn out so nice. She also has a funny top hat."
The woman let the paper down to reveal it was really (Y/N) who was offended at Peter's comment, "I do not!"
"Why are you here?" Peter asked her
"I don't feel so hot. What makes you feel better when you feel terrible?"
"My family."
(Y/N) was still disgusted at that
"What do you have against my family?" Peter asked
"It's not just your family. It's the whole idea of--" (Y/N) couldn't say what she wanted to say, "They tell you what to do, what not to do and it's not conducive to a creative atmosphere."
"Usually, they're just trying to protect you because they love you," (Y/N) cringed at the word, "If you don't believe me, you should ask."
"Ask who? My father? No way. At least, not by myself."
"You want me to go with you?"
"Hey. Hey, what a good idea. Yeah! And you know what? I've got transport-" she bumped into her Glass Elevator again, "I have to be more careful where I park this thing."
They walked in after the doors opened and flew off to find (Y/N)'s father. They eventually made it to the middle of nowhere which was covered in snow but a house stood alone. As they walked toward it, (Y/N) got nervous about going to see her father. It's been years since she last saw him. What would he think of her now? (Y/N) tried to tell Peter that they might've had the wrong house but the name '(D/N) Wonka' on a gold plack outside said otherwise.
Peter rang the doorbell and waited for an answer. When (D/N) answered he asked if they had an appointment. (Y/N) was almost surprised that her father hadn't seemed to change a bit since she last saw him. Peter told (D/N) that he didn't have an appointment but (Y/N) was overdue for one. So, they went inside and (Y/N) laid down on the dentist table. (D/N) told her to open up so he could inspect the damage. While he looked, Peter looked around the office.
On the wall were newspaper articles in picture frames. All of them about (Y/N) and her success over the years. Even a picture of (Y/N) when she was younger. Despite saying that no daughter of (D/N) would be a chocolatier, he was still proud of what (Y/N) accomplished without him. (D/N) then spoke up about (Y/N)'s teeth. He hadn't seen anything like them since (Y/N). That's when he realised who his patent was. It was (Y/N). All grown up. (D/N) asked if it was really her only for (Y/N) to say hello to him.
(D/N) put his dentist tools down and marveled at the fact that (Y/N) never flossed even after all these years. After some hesitation, (Y/N) and (D/N) hugged each other after years of being apart. It was on this day that (Y/N) Wonka repeated her offer to Peter who accepted on one condition. That his family would join them. (Y/N) allowed them to stay at the factory with them. In the end, Peter Parker won a chocolate factory. But (Y/N) Wonka got something even better: A family. And one thing was absolutely certain: Life had never been sweeter.
