Chapter Six

Bella and I moved downstairs. Lottie was having tummy time with her daddy on the floor. Edward was talking with Jake and Paul. Rose was trying to talk Bella out of her baby names but I loved them. Alice was sat on the stairs with Creed. Emmett, Esme and Carlisle had went hunting and get more human blood after Paul and Jake tricked the wolf pack. 

"Hey." Bella smiled. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, it's not like I'm the one carrying a demon." He joked causing me to glare.

"So, hybrids are demons huh?" I asked with an icy glare causing Jake to shiver."

"This is pretty important, Bella. Why don't you tell Jacob what you've decided." Rose says causing me to turn my attention to my sister. 

"What now?" Jake groaned. 

"Rose is trying to talk Bella out of her baby names." Edward explained. 

"She hates them." Bella sighed.

"Well, then I'm on your side no matter what you picked." Jake says.

"Suck up." I laughed causing him to glare at me. 

"They're not that bad." Bella sighed. "If it's a boy, EJ. Edward Jacob."

"Okay," Rose sighed. "That one's not awful. Why don't you tell him the girl's name?"

This caused me to smile because I have a feeling it's going to be a little girl. 

"I was playing around with our moms' names. Renee and Esme." Bella explained. "I was thinking,, Renesmee."

"Renesmee?" Jake pronounced the name very weirdly causing me to snort.

"Too weird?" Bella asked. 

"Uh." Jake stuttered. 

"No," Edward swooped in. "That's not too weird. It's beautiful and it's unique, which certainly fits the situation. I like Renesmee." 

I smiled at the look Bella gave Rose and I.

"He likes it." She whispered before reaching for the cup in Edward's hand after Rose helped her stand.

The cup slips from her hands and I watch in horror as Bella went to grab it hearing the sickening snap as she screamed falling to the floor. I quickly rush over to my now wailing daughter who was in Jasper's arms.

"Edward, you got this?" I asked hurriedly.

"Yes." He nodded. "Go get Lottie calmed down." 

I nodded taking Jasper's hand rushing him up to our room. Once in there I laid on the bed with Lottie in my arms. I hum rubbing her back trying to calm her down. Soon she does and through the opened door I saw Alice dragging a feral Rose by the throat downstairs. I look at Jasper and he got up shutting and locking the door.

There was a light knock on the door. I get up from the bed. Lottie was asleep in her crib and open the door. Rose stood there with a bundle. I smiled gently as the baby looked at me with those chocolate brown eyes.

We walked downstairs and sat in front of the fireplace.

"Renesmee." Rose smiled at me. 

My head snapped up as I heard it. The wolves. 

"Rosie, keep an eye on the babies." I hissed rushing out the door.

I stood beside Jasper and Edward as the wolves came.

"We're outnumbered." Alice whispered from beside Creed.

"I will not let them hurt my family." Edward hissed and thats when it went to hell.

I punched Embry in the snout causing him to fly backwards. Paul was by my side fighting Quil. I let out a scream as Sam tackled me and had his paw pressing down on my throat. I started seeing black dots before hearing a snapping sound and excruciating pain in my neck before everything went black. 

-3rd Person-

Jasper's head snapped to the left as he heard a familiar scream. He saw his wife pinned to the ground under Sam with his paw on her neck. This was the perfect distraction for the wolves as Jared tackled Jasper. There was a sickening crack before Julie went silent. Jasper let out an enraged scream finally managing to throw Jared across the yard and rushed over to Sam kicking him in the side sending him flying into Emmett. He knelt to the floor holding his wife in his arms. He started to sob as he heard her fluttering heartbeat slowing down. 

"Jasper!" Carlisle called out. "You're going to have to fully change her. Take her inside." 

Jasper quickly lifted his wife up into his arms rushing into the house. Rose looked up and let out a scream of horror.

"NO!" She cried out. "What happened?" 

"Sam, snapped her neck." Jasper hissed laying her on the sofa. 

He bit into her neck, wrists and ankles before he took her upstairs laying her beside Bella. He just hopes that she'll be alright.
