I was lying on my bed, binge-watching my favorite movie series.

How to Train Your Dragon, of course.

After a tiring day at work, the last thing I wanted was to be disturbed by someone. But life is never what you want.Right?

A sudden knock on my apartment door ended the mother-son reunion mood I'd been watching.

-Who is it?

I asked annoyed heading towards the door.

But I got no answer, paranoid as I am about being robbed up in my own house, I repeated the question.

Receiving no response again I decided not to risk it and went back to my room.

As I sat up in bed the knocking on the door came again. More insistent and violent than before.

I approached the door again and, without opening it, I said:

-I'm not an idiot, if you don't tell me who you are there's no possibility of letting you in.

BUT!......

This time I got a answer.

- Y/N is me...

I recognized that weak voice that spoke to me. He was one of my best friends from my hometown.

-Jason! Why didn't you speak it was you before?

When I unlocked the door, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and I automatically knew something was wrong. I open the door at once, trying to take whoever was behind it by surprise.

But it was the opposite that actually occurred.

Jason, who I believed to be a good person, was pointing a gun at my forehead.

That was really the same kind and caring boy who was once my best friend?

The next thing I saw was darkness.

I don't know how long I stayed in that dark, cold, lonely and silent place. Before I could finally see a light that guides me to freedom away from this nightmare.

Or that was what I thought.
