(y/n) was a normal person. They are 18 right now. They were going on a camping trip with their family. They did a few things like going on a hike, fishing, and more camping activities. (y/n) did like it so far. They also learned a lot of survival stuff before they went on the trip to be safe in case of anything happening. One of those days, they were walking near a river. They were too close to the river and slipped in. The river was strong, and they were taken away. The family tried to get (y/n) but the river was too fast. (y/n) got knock out from a rock hitting them in the head.
(y/n) pov:
I was waking up. I found myself on the shore of the river. I remembered what happened and panicked. I got up and started to calm myself down. I thought of a plan.
(y/n): calm down (y/n). I will follow the river back to where I was and find my family then go home.
I found which way the river was going and went on my way. I was in the open right now with lot of rocks. I felt hunger in me. I need to find food soon. I saw there was some fish in the river. I decided to try and find a worm and something to hold it. I got a worm from some dirt nearby.
(y/n): bingo
I found a stick with thin ends for the worm. I put in water and waited. I eventually got a bite. I pulled the fish out of the water. It was flipping around, and I hit it with a rock till it was dead. I got a sharp rock to cut the fish a bit. I used the river to get rid of the blood. I took it with me and kept going while eating it raw.
(y/n): not too good but it will feed me for a while
I soon got inside of the forest. It was peaceful so far. I heard birds chirping and the sound of the river I was following. It's not hard to walk around here because it's not so rocky and mostly flat. I felt thirsty and drank some of the river water. It was clean and tasted very fresh. I liked it and I noticed a group of elk was also drinking the water on the other side of river.

I stand back from them. I know I must not get too close because bull elks can get aggressive. I slowly kept walking. Then one of the bull elk can through the river and stand Infront of me. I got pretty scared till I saw some grass I saw them eating next to me. I grabbed some of it. The elk came closer. I decided to give it the grass. It was eating it out of my hand. I actually pet it and it didn't do anything bad.
(y/n): that's it. I am no threat.
He was done and walked past me. I kept going feeling calm again and lucky not to get gored. One the way, I saw a few deer nearby and I left them alone. I felt like I had more hope on getting back to my family. I found the river going to bit more to the side now and there was also a small rock hill that I could go up on. Then I heard something coming up behind me. I looked to see a bear. It roared at me.

I ran to the rock hill. It can be hard for it because it's bigger and there was something similar to a path on the hill for my size. I ran as fast as I could, and the bear chased me. I got to the top of the hill, and I almost fell of the cliff of it. There was a small lake connected to the river. I then got cornered by the bear. I had one idea that could save my life. I jumped into the lake. It was deep enough for me to jump in and be fine. I looked to see the bear not going off the cliff.
(y/n): so long Yogi
I swam to the other side of the lake. I got to the shore and followed the river once more. It was getting dark then I heard something. I saw lights like flashlights. Then I heard.
???: (y/n), (y/n) are you out here?
I knew it was a rescue team.
(y/n): OVER HERE!
Soon lights were on me. This little journey of mine was finally over.
No one pov:
(y/n) was reunited with his family. They went back home. (y/n) told their story to others and was even rewarded with a metal for surviving and finding their way back home. They became bit popular in their town they liked it. They decided to be a forest ranger so they can experience more of the outdoors and help teach other of survival.
