billies mind was racing as she sat inside of her car, parked in the lot in front of the small store.she didn't know if this was a good idea, and it really probably wasn't, but she didn't know what else to do.
a week had already passed, and if billie wanted to make a move she knew it would be best to do it soon rather than later.
trying to shake her nerves away billie shook her head, opening her car door and getting out.
it was very early in the morning, the sky still being completely dark.
checking her surroundings billie noticed one other car, the same car that has been there the past times she has.
billie didn't give herself anymore time to second guess more than she has.
she knew this idea was really stupid, but she was feeling good, and she felt as it something really good could come out of this.
so she pushed open the door, a small smile made its way on her face at the sight of gray.
she walked up to the counter, finally catching the attention of gray who was bobbing her head up and down with one earbud in.
she gave a sly smile to billie, kind of glad to see the black haired girl again.
it had been a little over a week since billie had been in the store and over that time gray had gotten a little curious.
she knew the girls name was billie, and apparently that's all she needed to know because as soon as she typed that name into google, the girl who liked shopping at abnormal hours' face was on her screen.
it didn't take long for gray to grow very interested.
i mean, who wouldn't?
the girl, who gray learned her name to be billie eilish was insanely beautiful, and really interesting.
and now here the girl was, standing right in front of her.
"hi" gray was the first to speak, she had stopped the music that was playing in her headphones.
"hi, i just wanted to give this to you. you don't have to like do anything if you don't want to but, yeah." billie rambled as she pulled a little piece of paper that was in her pocket.
she wanted to get right to the point.
gray didn't know what was happening until she saw the numbers on the small paper that was being handed to her, and when it did click a big smile broke out on her face.
"is this your phone number?" gray asked as she looked into billies eyes.
billie nodded her head, a blush spread across her cheeks as she fiddled with her fingers.
"and you want me to text you?" gray just wanted to make sure she was getting everything right. of course she was second guessing, why would a very well known celebrity be giving her number out to a random girl who works nights at a tiny convenience store?
"yeah, text or call or whatever. you just seem pretty cool and i want to get to know you." you could tell by billies voice that she was nervous, and gray found that so cute.
"oh i will definitely be using this." gray held up the little paper as she spoke, reassuring billie.
"ok, that's good."
it was a full day before billie got a text, it was night again and she was laying down in bed, wondering if she had made a mistake.
but she knew she didn't when her phone went off, showing she got a message from an unknown number, simply saying 'hi :)' .
"fuck." billie whispered.
she felt her stomach twist up in nervousness.
how long should she wait to reply?
would right away be to fast?
no, she told herself. she should at least wait five minutes, just to make sure she didn't seem too clingy.
after those five horribly long minutes she finally typed in her response,
' hey :)) '
she dropped her phone on her bed before she could look at it, getting up and leavening her room before she could see what gray responded back with.
as she was walking down the hall she heard the beep of her phone, the amount of butterflies in her stomach doubling.
fuck this, she thought.
she turned around running to her room and flopping on her bed, so excited to talk to gray, the girl she had been thinking about nonstop.
sorry for such a long wait on this chapter, i wrote it 5 different times and hated each outcome.
but here this is, hope you enjoy :))
and i'll try to get the next chapter out quickly!!

Fanfic"gray. i can definitely see why you're parents named you that." billie mindlessly whispered as she read the name tag that belonged to the store worker standing in front of her. gray just scoffed, tired. "if you're done making comments about me now...
