First and foremost, this is a dark-ish mafia romance that includes, violence, mentions of sexual assault and sexual situations.
In this book we follow the main character through her process of healing and dealing with the effects her sexual assault left on her (although this is not what the book is entirely based on) . I will not be going into detail about the sexual assault but mainly on the effects it can leave people, hoping that anybody that went through something similar to this can relate to Alia and know you're not alone. There's a place for all of you in this world and I hold all of you in a very special place in my heart.
With all that said, this is a very adventure and romantic filled book and I hope you all enjoy reading this as it holds a special place in my heart.
