Makeup isn't necessary but is a big part of the subculture! You don't need to be skilled at it <33
- Natural skin texture and freckles is super coquette and cute don't be afraid to rock that look.
- Pink and blushy is a key look!
- 1960s makeup can be great!
Lips:
- gloss (any shade and type)
- dark tinted lip oils
- red lipstick
- pink lipsticks!
(Colours that match your lips are great too! I personally wear a medium dull pink liner, and lipstick that matches my natural lip colour)
Eyes:
- Mascara! 'doe eyes' is central to the aesthetic.
- grey eyeliner pencil
- light eyeshadow shades (I personally wear pinks and greys)
(unless you want a more standout or dramatic looks)
My daily makeup!
- lipgloss or balm
- grey eyeliner
- pale pink eyeshadow and a slightly darker more glittery pink
- mascara
- blush
I half-line my under eye with grey pencil, from the outer corner. I dust pink blush on my cheeks. I use pale pink eyeshadow, I then do the outer corner of my eye and sometimes along the start of the grey liner with a glittery pink eyeshadow. I top off with mascara and gloss <3
I don't use foundation for every day! It's not good for your skin.
