Y/n P.O.V

Everything was dark, most people were sleeping while I was helping Clarke with Jasper, "His pulse is thready" she said as I kept damping his head with a wet towel. Suddenly jasper groaned pretty loud, In the distance we could hear kids yelling for him to shut up. 

"Don't listen to them" I say softly as I pat down his bangs "Your gonna make it through this. okay?" Clarke said trying to lighten the mood. 

"I'm gonna get clean water keep and eye on him" she said as she climbed down the ladder,   "Hey Monty?" I asked he looked up for a second indicating he was listening "How long have you and jasper been friends?" I asked my voice soft as to not wake anymore people.
"As long as I can remember me and him...we used to steal medical stuff from the ark and get high with it" he laughed breathlessly at the memory, "I know he will make it through" his voice cracked at the end.
"He will.." I say softly, encouraging the idea, Clarke came back soon after and she told me she will watch over him and that I should get some rest. I drifted off to sleep on my place on the floor.

I was awaken by Jasper moaning in pain, I sat up slowly and started to check on him. Clarke and Monty where nowhere to be seen it was just me and Jasper, "Your gonna be okay.." I say my voice filled with reassurance as I started to remove the molds off of his wound sand wrap them up differently. Clarke came back soon after and started to help me she then spoke up, "The grounders cauterized the wound, they saved his life." She said her face puzzled.
"They kept him alive to see if they were more of him most likely, and you all took the bait so now they know their competition" I said focused on pouring water down jasper's throat.
"Have you ever seen something like this before...?" She asked looking at me, studying my facial movements.
"Its basic survival instinct" I sighed softly feeling hungry.
Clarke said his wound was infected and turned to Monty and started to talk about contacting the Ark, I spaced out and started to think about my father and sister. I snapped back to reality when I heard her snap at Wells I looked at the two of them seeing some chemistry...did the fuck or......I was confused but she told him to hold Jasper down. She stuck her knife in the fire I guessed what she was doing and looked at Wells who I caught staring at me he quickly looked away and Finn saw this and got a little angry.

My hand was firm on Jasper's foot as he started to scream...maybe I should have put my hand over his mouth. Octavia came running up the stairs "Stop it your going to kill him!" She yelled at us mostly Clarke.
"She is trying to save his life" I said looking at her my grip on Jasper not faltering "She can't" A new voice spoke up, it was the dick from earlier Bellamy or whatever. "Really optimistic smart ass" I said glaring at him. "What did you say" He said getting annoyed, Wells got up and got and told him to back off he started to go on the rant about how he's a goner and there is no point in wasting our time on him.

I got up and looked at Bellamy then........
