Moon the Mafia Boss

Chapter 24

                   Sorry for being gone. I am now back.

                          Later that day we left my parents house and headed over to Bendy's house. "Sorry about my parents." "Its fine. There not that bad." "You just meet them. But yeah there not that bad." Moon opened the door and we went inside. I shut the door behind me and I saw Bendy in the corner. "So your two have fun?" "We didn't do anything Bendy. Just spent the night at Sun's parents house." "Oh that's nice." Moon nodded his head and he went up to his room.

                          "So how did it go?" "Not bad. But I told them about Moon and I." Bendy sat down at the table and I did the same. "So how did that go?" "They don't really care. There just glad I am happy. They also seem to like Moon." "That's good. So does he still not know?" "No. My dad almost slipped up but my mom caught him on it." "Your gonna have to tell him at some point." "I know." "Keep an eye on Moon." "Your not staying?" "No I have to go to Cassy's parents place."

                             I arrived at Cassy's parents house and knock on the door. "Sun so good to see you." "Hi Jane." She welcomed me inside and led me to the living room. "We are so happy to see you." "Its been awhile." "That it has. Cassy called us once you two started talking again." I looked down and Jane sighed. "I was staying with her for a bit. The day she was killed I was hanging out with a friend." Cassy's father Ralph stood up and I gulped. "I shouldn't have went with them. I should have went with her.

                              "Don't blame yourself Sun. She was mixed in with the wrong people." I nodded my head and Ralph patted my shoulder. I spent the next few hours going over her funeral plans. I even helped with the invitation list. "Sun do you know the mafia gangs?" "I only found out about them almost a year ago.  My parents never really talked about it. And Freddy my old boss kept it fro me too. But that all changed when Moon walked in one day." "Too bad he's dead."

                                 It started to get late and I bid them goodnight. I headed back to Bendy's and knock on the door. I heard footsteps and waited. The door opened and Moon peaked out. "Sun what are you doing here?" "My parents are an hour away and I'm really tired." Moon sighed and stepped aside. I walked in and Moon shut the door. "Bendy and Alice are sleeping already." "So what are you doing awake?" "Drinking." I shook my head and the two of us headed upstairs.

                                 We got to his room and Moon shut the door and locked it. "Can we talk?" I sat down on his bed and I nodded my head. "Yeah. What's on your mind?" "You are. But I miss you and want you to come back." "I do to. But I need to stay away a bit longer." "How much longer?" "Till Cassy's funeral." Moon nodded his head and pulled me in for a hug. "Stay with me tonight?" I nodded my head and Moon pulled away. "I love you Sunshine." "I love you too Moonie."

                                  I woke up and looked over at the clock. It was only one am and something felt off. I sat up and didn't see Moon. "Moon?" I called out but I didn't get an answer. I went into the bathroom and saw him sitting in the tub. He was asleep and I sighed. I touched his head and it was very warm. I gently pushed him awake and his eyes where dull. "Shit sorry Sun." "What are you doing in the tub?" "I didn't want to sit against the cabinets."

                                 "You look ill are you okay?" "I drank a bit too much." I sat on the edge of the tub and looked down at Moon. "Why where you drinking?" "Because I hate myself." I sighed and got Moon out of the tub. "Take your cloths off." "Sorry Sun. I am not fucking you like this." "Just take your cloths off. I was gonna give you a bath." "Oh. My bad." I nodded my head and started the bath for him. I got him into the bath and looked him back over.

                                "I'll get you some medicine. Just stay there." Moon nodded his head and I headed downstairs. I got him some painkillers and went back to our room. I went back into the bathroom and saw Moon looking worse. "What else did you do Moon?" "Just drink. I feel like shit though." "You look like shit." Moon looked up at me but he wasn't smiling. "I love you Sun." "I love you too Moon." "Get me out of the tub please." I got him out of the tub and sat him on the floor.

                                  An hour later Moon was back in bed with his head on my chest. I soon fell into a deep sleep. I was soon woken back up by the sun. I heard Moon grumble and I helped him sit up. Moon opened his eyes and looked over at me. "Don't leave me today." "I won't Moon." "Can you come back?" "If I stay here can I stay out of the mafia stuff?" "Yeah. Well both take a break." I nodded my head and Moon stumbled out of bed. "Need anything?" I asked from the bed. "Water and more medicine please."

                                   I headed downstairs and I saw Alice in the kitchen. "Morning." She said not turning around. "Morning." I said sleepily. She turned around and Alice gasped. "What did Moon do to you?" She asked as I grabbed the painkillers. "Was he that rough?" "What no. Moon was drinking last night and he got carried away. "Oh. I'll bring him some coffee it will help." I nodded my head and brought up the painkillers and the coffee. I opened the door and Moon was back on the bed. "Thanks Sunshine." "No problem Moon."
