Lauren sits on the couch with a cup of coffee in hand. Last night Bo had left without a word after the encounter. She didn't even drink her coffee.
Lauren hasn't been able to stop thinking about what happened all day. She was worried she had done something to upset Bo, by the way that Bo left. Almost immediately after she had whispered in Lauren's ear, she up and left.
Lauren takes a sip from her coffee. Kenzi left ages ago to some party with some friends she had met. Lauren was left alone and she wasn't sure if she should expect Bo to come or not. She should have kissed her. She wanted to after all. But she didn't and now she is by herself.
She feels like she should call and find out if everyone is ok. So she does.
First she calls to check on Kenzi. She picks up after three rings.
"Hey! Things going good there?" Kenzi shouts over the music on her end.
"Yeah, just calling to see if everything is good with you."
"Yeah we all good as you can hear," Kenzi giggles, " Has Bo called you yet?"
"No why?"
"She hasn't stopped by?"
"No."
"Hmm ok then, see you later."
"Wait, Kenz what are you talking about?"
She hung up on Lauren.
"Dammit Kenz!" Lauren cursed, staring at the phone. Which began buzzing in her hand. Caller ID said it was Bo.
Lauren considered not answering. What could she say? Sorry I never kissed you? That might not go as well as she would plan.
Lauren answered the phone anyway, thinking that maybe it was a mistake. It wasn't.
"Hey, is this Dr. Hotpants' office?" Bo asked smoothly.
"I'm sorry this is Lauren. Dr. Lauren." Lauren said thinking that she was correct and Bo really had called the wrong number.
"Hi Dr. Hotpants."
"I promise you that you aren't talking to a... A Dr. Hot whatever." Lauren said confused.
"Sure I am, her real name is Lauren and she looks hot in her pants."
Lauren didn't know how to respond to that and Bo knew it.
"Are you ever going to stop being speechless?"
"I don't actually know..."
"I wanted to call before I just randomly dropped by."
"Umm yeah sure, you going to come now?" Lauren asked.
"Yeah I'm on my way up as we speak." As Bo said 'speak', she opened the door.
Hanging up on the phone, Lauren said, " Well hi... I guess."
Bo walked in and grabbed Lauren by the waist.
"I'm sorry for running out last night..."
Lauren cut her off by kissing her. Lauren moved her hands down the side of Bo's face. She felt Bo take in a sharp breath. Their lips moving in sync, all Lauren could think about is why she hadn't done this earlier.
Bo felt right to her, she felt like heaven on Earth. Something Lauren hasn't felt for anyone in all her life.
Bo's hands pulled away from her for a second.
"It's seems it's me who is speechless now," Bo whispered, leaning her forehead against Lauren's.
Lauren smiled. "Finally I got something right, I thought I would never effect you."
Bo pulled her for another kiss before saying, "You have always had an effect. You take my breath away. Every. Single. Time."
Lauren smiled and took Bo by the hand and up to her bedroom. When there, she pushed Bo to the bed and climbed on top of her.
Lauren looked down on the beautiful, sexy succubus beneath her. She leaned down to kiss her again rubbing her body against Bo's all the while thinking; this is the perfect start to something new.
