Alex sat in a room alone as she glanced down at her hands. Trudy Platt, the desk sergeant she met prior let her shower in the locker room and gave her a fresh set of clothes that she borrowed from Kim. Her dark brown hair that looked almost black was still damp and her Chicago Police Department shirt had a couple of water droplets on them. The door opened and Jay Halstead came in with his partner.

Logan smiled softly and sat down at the table, Jay following her.

"Alex, I have some questions for you." She said and Alex looked at her and blinked.

"I have to ask you some questions, about your attacker. I just need to know if he's done..." She said looking at Jay and then back at Alex and spoke.

"If he's done stuff." She said and then Alex blinked and spoke.

"If I tell you, he's going to kill Dani." She said and Jay looked at Logan and then spoke.

"Alex, we need you to tell us so we can try and see if we can get his DNA." He said and then Alex blinked and shook her head and pinched her fingers.

"He's done stuff to me. But it was never rape." She said softly and Logan nodded and then placed a hand on Alex's.

"We're going to catch him." She said and Alex bit the inside of her lip and Logan spoke.

"Do you want anything to eat?" She asked and Alex shook her head and Logan nodded and stood from her spot.

"Alright, let us know if you need something." She said and Alex nodded and watched as Jay stood up, smiling at her softly, giving her pity, which she hated. She waited for them to close the door and she stood up abruptly and rushed over to the window and pulled back the blinds. She picked the latch open and she opened the window, seeing only 10ish feet seperating her from the ground.

She looked behind her and then jumped out of the window, landing in the grass. She looked behind her, closing the window and she rushed out of the 21st before any cop could catch her.

Alex made her way all the way through Pilsen's park, and ran into the alleyway and saw her sister standing with her friends. She rushed over to her and they all looked at her.

"Dani we need to talk." She said and Dani furrowed her eyebrows inwards and shook her head.

"No we don't." She said and Alex clenched her jaw and spoke.

"Now." She said harshly and Dani looked at her friends group and they all walked away. Dani looked back at her older sister and placed her hands on her hips.

"What?" She asked and then Alex blinked and spoke.

"He's out. " She said and Dani's heart dropped and her eyes widened.

"What?!" She asked, yelling slightly and Alex spoke.

"He's out and he's being hunted for by the detectives in the CPD. We need to go, so they can protect us." She said and Dani shook her head and spoke.

"No, I'm not going with the cops." She said and Alex blinked and spoke. "Dani, please." She said and Dani shook her head and spoke.

"No! I'm going to see him! I love him!" She said and Alex raised her lip in disgust and spoke.

"No you don't." She said and Dani shook her head and broke out into a sprint.

"Dani!" Alex yelled going after her but once the track star ran, there was no going back. Alex slowed down and clenched her jaw as she thought about her sister being with a scumbag. She could hear a car coming from behind her and seconds later a familiar voice spoke.

"Alex!" Jay said rushing out of the car and she turned to him and glared.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked and he raised an eyebrow and spoke.

"You ran away." He said and Alex shook her head and spoke.

"No I didn't. I was never charged and I wasn't arrested." She spat and blinked and spoke.

"Why were you out here?" He asked and Alex clenched her jaw and he raised both eyebrows this time. She licked her lips and spoke, giving in.

"My sister was out here. I was checking up on her." She said and Jay crossed his arms over his chest and spoke.

"Where is she?" He asked and Alex shook her head in defeat and looked at where her sister ran off to.

"I don't know. She just ran off." She said sighing and the she raised a hand to her face and brought it over it, exaspherated. She sighed and Jay spoke and Alex didn't make any eye contact with Jay.

"Let's go, we're going back over to the district." he said and Alex shook her head and spoke.

"I can walk." She said and he raised his eyebrows and shook his head.

"No, I can drive." he said and Alex shook her head and spoke

"That's okay. I don't really do the whole guy driving thing, I don't know where you're going to take me." She said and he shook his head and spoke.

"To the Police Department, Alexandra. Let's go." He said and Alex glared at him and spoke.

"It's Alex and no." She said and Jay opened the passenger door to his truck for her.

"Nah, you get to take the cooler way there, plus you're Logan's old friend Logan's my partner. She's dead set on wanting to help you, so am I. So let's go, I'm driving." He said and she rolled her eyes and hopped into his truck. She crossed her arms over her chest as he drove out from Pilsen Park and made his way to the district.
