Bucky's POV
I think I've made a terrible mistake that will hit me later. Y/n knows I know about her identity and I could actually help her but she doesn't know about mine. And if she did she would probably be upset that I didn't tell her. I do have a good reason though, she could be put into more danger than she already is if she knew and that cannot happen.
After gym we all got cleaned up and went to lunch. I sat next to Y/n which earned some grins from the rest of the group. Then Natasha said something that almost made me choke on my water, "So are you guys like a thing or something?"
Y/n just laughed awkwardly while I stared at them.
"Oh shit, I don't think they had the conversation yet.", Sam chuckles.
"Seems as so.", Loki replies.
The silence was broken by Flash walking over to our table once again, "Hello Y/n.", he says sweetly then completely changes when he says, "Hello Y/n's acquaintances."
"Flash.", is the only thing we all say at the same time.
"So Y/n, can you go to the dance with anyone? I wasn't able to ask you in gym because we weren't partners for some odd reason. Like I mean we could've been partners but you were stuck with that random guy.", the only thing I can do without being violent is roll my eyes.
"Uh- I forgot to ask so probably not.", Y/n says trying to be as neutral as possible when she could literally just make him punch himself in the face over and over again. (my favorite Protector move) It's really sweet that she's not trying to be mean or harsh even though it's Flash.
"I'll ask because you obviously want to go to the dance with me, which teacher is it?", he replies smugly.
"She doesn't want to go to the dance with you, dipshit.", Yelena starts, "She's just trying to be nice and not hurt your big ego which is definitely making up for something."
Most of the group starts to stand up, including me, and I add, "I suggest you go back to your table of preppy jerks."
"Y/n! You're friends aren't being nice to me!", he whines like a literal child.
"Oh, fuck off.", Y/n glares at him and he walks away, defeated.
She's amazing.

Y/n's POV
I had the one of the most infuriating conversations with Flash yesterday. All I wanted to do was to make Flash punch himself in the face after he called Bucky a 'random guy', I don't know why the made me so upset. Like it wasn't even that much of an insult. But I am happy that my friends helped me though and that was probably the last time Flash will ever talk to me.
I do have a new problem though, lying to Fury. Yesterday at the end of training, Fury came and checked on what we were doing and our progress. It was my turn to give him the report and I learned lying to him was much harder than I thought.
As I walk into the main room for the Avengers, Fury is standing there, waiting for everyone to arrive. Captain America, Iron Man, Scarlett Witch, Hawkeye, the Hulk (through a call), and myself are already here.
Hawkeye ask Fury the question we've all been thinking, "What are you doing here? Aren't team meetings on Mondays?"
"Yes they are but I something important that needs to be done involving you all and it cannot wait till Monday. Now just wait for the rest of the team."
I whisper towards Iron Man, "Are we in trouble?"
He just nods slowly in response.
As the rest of the Avengers come in one by one, feeling the tension grow each time they see Fury. After everyone arrived I finally get the courage to say something, "What's this urgent meeting about? I have something really important I have to do after this.", It's finding a dress to wear to homecoming but it's also finding something to wear to an Oscorp formal event that I'm forced to go to by my parents which is happening in a couple of weeks. My mom would probably kill me if I didn't show up on time.
"Well your important thing can wait, we are going to be staying here for a while.", Fury replies. He continues, "We are doing an evaluation today."
"And it had to be urgent?", God of Mischief mocks him.
"Yes, I have a feeling that someone is lying about something to me and I intend on finding out more."
