It's the month of January and your parents are deciding to move you from Boston to California. Its the middle of sophomore year and your kind of a loner, especially now you feel so alone since your parents have been fighting and your an only child

Growing up you never really have had any friends and you don't have a lot of family. Maybe a new scenery will help your family come together again, but also your not to thrilled about moving across the country.

Y/n Pov:

Im tired of driving, i'm tried of my parents, i'm tired of everything. Leaving my home town scares me, i'm not used to change at all. Since my dad has been drinking a lot more lately and my mom has worked a lot i've been alone. Very alone. Not a lot of people like me, they think i'm strange and weird.

We pulled into the drive way of our huge house, it looks kind of creepy on the outside but creepy in a good way. Marcy (our real estate agent) gets out of the car to walk us in.

Marcy Pov:

"Welcome guys"

I say trying to comfort the family and make them feel right at home. I walk them straight into the house and start showing them around.

"It's a older house but still very nice looking. The old owners adored this home and loved everything about it". 

Y/n started walking toward the back of the house, that's where the basement was which i was hoping she wouldn't ask about.

"Does this door open?"

She asks as she wiggles the door knob.

"No, it hasn't opened for a while. I'm thinking the old owners might have locked it before..."

I was cut off by Mrs. Y/l/n
