Gardenia mean Secret Love

The fragrance still on his shirt, Eli who just opened the new cafe in front of the flower shop. It was few days ago before he officially opened his cafe. He was looking around the place making sure it's all good.

He noticed the flower shop, it's just his instinct, his feet were drawn to came inside the shop. "Welcome dear customer" a voice called out for him, the guy carried a vase that full carnations. "Ohh uh I'm just checking out your shop", "Oh you must be my new neighbor huh?" The guy smiled.

"Y-yeah", he put the vase to the perfect spot before facing Eli. "My name is Aesop Carl, you?" He tilted his head. "Oh uh Eli, Eli Clark" they both stared at each other for a moment before shaking their hands.

Eli couldn't forget how delicate Aesop was. Not only that he's also good looking.  He watches Aesop from the far, groaning he needed to focus on his work. Then he can pay a visit after work.

Now it's evening, Eli already packed some foods and hot coffee for Aesop. He cleared his throat before entering the shop. "It's HAS to be perfect!" With confident he went inside while bringing his foods and drink.

"Welcom- oh! Eli" the smile on Aesop's were bright that it made Eli blind. "Hi Aesop...I bring you some snacks and hot coffee from my cafe". "Ahh you don't have to you know".  Eli put them on the table, "If it's you... everything that I serve there are free" he looks away from him, clearing his throat again. The grey hair man chuckled, "Aww thank you Eli...I guess I will give you some flowers! If you know the meaning it would be wonderful".

He blink few times, thinking, "Hmmm I hope the meaning are good". Aesop slowly wrap the white flower for him. "It's Gardenia...and it's for you Eli". He took it, "Woah it's looks like you..." Aesop watches the guy being happy receiving the flowers. He giggled, "Hehehe...it's special...just for you.." his cheeks were red, cute that what Eli thought.

"Thank you Aesop...I appreciate it...ah it's almost get dark, I have to go now... I'm sorry! But I will visit you tomorrow! I swear" he waved him before leaving the shop. "...I hope he read the notes..." His face flushed red, hoping that Eli will understand it.

Eli rushed to his home, sitting on chair while smelling the flowers he noticed a note. Guess it's from Aesop, he open and read it.

I know it's so sudden but I'm attracted to you Eli, I gave you Gardenia because it's "secret love" I've having crush on you these days...I watched you from far you're popular among girls huh? I don't want to lose...so I'm risking this just to tell you that "I like you"

Eli kept rubbing his eyes, he can't believe that Aesop really confessed to him. It's a miracle! That what he thought so, bet he won't sleep tonight, he will meet Aesop tomorrow and confess back to him.

Today is the day! He wore perfect suit just to meet him, making sure everything are good. In front of his shop, Eli were nervous, Aesop who noticed him, went outside just to check on him, "Eli?", Oh his heart almost burst because of Aesop, he slowly turned around, facing the guy he likes. "I actually like you too Aesop", his body were shaking, he can't shake the nervous. Aesop stared at him for a moment before laughing softly.

"At least, confess inside!" Ughhh Eli feel embarrassed after all people were watching them. Aesop pulled him inside the shop. "I guess...I will like you more" Aesop giggled.
