Evelyn's P.O.V.
Sweeping up the dust that came in reminded me of my old job. I would have been able to leave her yesterday.
Being here is exhausting. He's always smiling and cheerful. Makes me want to bash his head. Not really.
"Undertaker." I said looking down. "Yes Dearie~" "Did the police ever got a hold of you for my stuff?" I was met with silence. "About that...they did and you just reminded me about where I stashed it." He stood up and went down one of the hallways I've never been down before.
Coming back he had two suitcases. "We need to leave." He said with such seriousness that I didn't even think to argue with him. Grabbing my wrist he dragged me out the door at a break-necking speed. After a few minutes my legs went numb, and after another five minutes my vision started to go cloudy and black dots keep popping up in my vision.
My head fills like a pile of bricks. "You tell her!" A voice yelled. A bump made me open my eyes. Looking around, a washcloth and basin were by me. When looking out the windows, the trees whizzing by unsettled my stomach. Heaving into the basin, footsteps sounded like they were heading towards me. "Hello Dearie!~" Undertaker's voice cut into my head.
"Where are we?" I wipe my mouth with my hand while my other pushed me up. He looked away. "Don't get mad. But we're an India." He cringed away from me. My jaw clench. "I'm going to kill you." I threaten him.
