Xiangling x reader || Baking Cookies!

As you travel teyvat, you were often occupied with work. Such as the adventures guild, fighting hilichurl camps, defeating slimes, and helping the people that plead for your service. Looking for your sibling was hard, and sometimes it was difficult to comply with work. You never seemed to achieve a break, Nobody seemed to look out for you. At least, that's what you thought. "Paimon doesn't understand why we're going to Liyue!" Your travel buddy poked your cheek, teasingly. "Paimon, don't you remember? We're getting ingredients from Xiangling." Recently, Good Hunter desired ingredients from Liyue, and Sara had sent you and paimon off to go investigate for certain slimes, that are more obtainable in Liyue. Sara did point out she would do it herself, but recently Good Hunter had been overwhelmed with customers, and she couldn't seem to spare a lot of time on her hands. So she sent you and paimon on a new journey. You both just hoped you'd both get free delicious food from there. Paimon specifically desired 'Fisherman's Toast', however, you weren't as picky as your travel buddy.

When you and Paimon entered Liyue, you were greeted by a person you recognized. Xingqiu? "Greetings, my liege. What brings you to Liyue at this time?" As you were about to speak, Paimon interrupted you. "We're looking for Xiangling, Guhua Geek, do you know where she is?" "The last time I saw Xiangling, she was located in Wanmin Restaurant. Do you need help finding Wanmin Restaurant, my liege?" Although you had explored all over Liyue, and you would probably find this restaurant instantly, you definitely wouldn't mind walking with Xingqiu there. Paimon just sighed and floated with you both as you all walked, or floated to Wanmin Restaurant.

Eventually, when you and Paimon got to the restaurant, Xingqiu had to leave you two. He said that he had scheduled a day with Chongyun today. 'So, does that mean even if I would have declined his request beforehand, he would have probably 'walked' with me and paimon anyway?' You said to yourself in silence. "What are you talking about?! C'mon! Paimon's stomach is about to eat Paimon alive!" Paimon dragged you into the restaurant against your will. ''I'll make you my emergency food one day, you'll see.''

When you and Paimon entered the restaurant 'interestingly', everyone was looking to see what you both were doing. Naturally, you were embarrassed. You were infuriated at Paimon, due to her making a show out of the both of you. Paimon saw your angry face, but chose not to interact with your anger any further. "Hey everyone! Nothing to see here, enjoy your time!" You looked to your left and saw Xiangling, instructing everyone to go mind their business. Her shiny blue buns bouncing with her bubbly personality. You certainly did admire her, especially for her well known cooking. "Hey Y/n! Come meet me in the chicke- I-I mean the kitchen! Ugh.." Xiangling covered her face in embarrassment. "FOOOD!!" Paimon said as she floated quickly to the kitchen. "Lets go catch up with her..Hee hee.." Xiangling said as she gestured to hold your hand.

When you all got to the kitchen, Xiangling glanced at you, and smiled. "Did you need a certain food? I can whip it up in no time!" Paimon spoke over you yet again. Seriously Paimon? "We need ingredients.. We have a list of them..But can we pleaseeee have something to eat first!? Paimon is about to be eaten alive by Paimons stomach!!" Xiangling brought her thumb and index finger to her chin. "Hmm.." She thought out loud. She made eye contact with you, and made a grin. "How about me and you make cookies?" You jerked a bit, since you were surprised by her answer. "I'm not great at baking.." You said, not too sure. "That's why we practice! I'll help you if you struggle!" You smiled, and agreed to bake with Xiangling. Baking was way more fun then you both even imagined! Lots of hugs to be included.

"Tada!" Xiangling exclaimed as you put down a giant bowl of chocolate chip cookies. You, Xiangling, and Paimon all ate them up faster then they took to cook.
