Kanik pov

My ship was set aflame, fire spreading to ever corner of the rooms and deck, along with the mass being knocked down, destroying part of the ship with it. The place was pure chaos and in ruin. And the thought of knowing who did this made me excited but also beyond pissed.

She fucking betrayed me, that bitch. And she got me good~ When I least expected it, she had me tied up in her little plan and ruined my own, ruined my crew and possible future plans.

"Hana~" I smirk as I walked through the sea of flames, walking towards the sounds of pathetic yelps and screams as a splatter of blood coated the ships wooden tiles.

White hair peaked from behind the flames, it almost shining off the orange and red color of the heat around them. Her red eye looking back at him menacingly, only just after she slaughtered part of his crew. His crewmates blood decorating her face and clothing as she fully turned to his view.

"Hana...you traitor." I growled under my breath and started to step forward, taking out my axe as if ready to battle. "My ship, my crew, my plans. You took them all away from me. Why? Do you work for the navy??"

She only stared back at me, didn't talk or blink. Just stare. I knew she was a mute, but part of me wanted to hear her voice and explain the messed up mess she made. "Fucking talk! Tell me you bitch!" I yelled out in frustration. Never has anyone gotten me frustrated over anything. Never. Yet, she did it.

Hana jumped onto the burning roof of my captain room, as she looked down at me. Her hand went behind her ear as she tossed something to me. It shined from the blazing light around us and fell to my feet. I looked at it before crouching down and picking it up.

A black X earring. A symbol that belonged to the Kazumi family. Now it suddenly all made sense. I was working for Kowareta Kazumi, the current head of the family. And she was a rogue family member, out for her father's head. She used me for intel and the whereabouts of her father.

"Taking me down to get rid of the evidence huh? It makes sense now.." I looked back at her as I crushed the earring in my hands. Black dust leaving my hand and returning to the flames. "Well played~" I smirked at her as she didn't say a thing. Hana then turned away and started to walk off of the burning ship.

My eyes widened as the rage kicked in again. Blood boiling and veins popping from my arms to my head. "Come back here!! Come back here you bitch!!" I ran to the spot she was before, only to notice that she was already gone from the ship. Leaving me here alone in the sea of flames.

I yelled out in frustration and looked up at the sky. "I'll find you Hana!! Even if it's the last thing I do! I'll make you pay for what you have done!! And chain you back to hell where you belong!!" I knew she wouldn't hear me, but I just hoped she'd get the feeling of being hunted down forever until I find her and kill her with my own hands.

"You fucking betrayed us?? Hana??" Kidd yelled as his eyes pierced her with a glare of his own. Killer and the other took out their weapons, ready for a fight. One to fight for their pride and the other for their gold.

Kanik smirked at the reaction. Kidd took the exchange the wrong way and it was working into Kanik's favour. Hana knew this and kept her glare on her former captain. "Answer me you bitch!" Kidd stomped over to her, full intention to beat the answer out of her.

"Take the treasure boys and kill them all." Kanik order his crew as they all started to storm towards Kidd's crew. As his crew got ready to battle, Hana held her hand out and a shadowy mist formed under the treasure. Acting as a portal, the treasure disappeared, along with a few crewmates that were to close to the mist.
