Chapter 2: Hestia Familia

||Outside The Dungeon||
||1st Person POV||

I was walking back to the guild to turn in all the stuff I got and take the familia list. Along the way I heard some things about a adventurer bathed in blood running through here. It was probably that girl. I'll apologize to her when I get a chance. 'Bathing a girl you just met in blood, kinky~' An annoying voice said in my head. 'I thought it was too quite suddenly but the first thing you say after all that was this. *sigh*'

After wandering around the town for a little while, I reached the Guild. I went straight to Eina to see whether the list is ready or not. She didn't notice me so I decided to give her a little scare. "Hey Eina-Chan, is the list ready?" I said in a cheery manner. "Ah! Gojo-San, dont scare me like that! Also, I heard what you did!! How can you be so irresponsible!? To go down till fifth floor without a falna?!" She exclaimed.

Oh no, she's angry. How did she know? "How do you know about that?" I asked. "The adventurer you saved told me." She replied with a little angry tone. "Well, If she told you the whole story then I did save her and kill a bullheaded monster with one punch." I said as I smirked. "A-Ah well, you certainly did so I'll let you off the hook this time. But don't think that you can get away with this next time." She said with a small blush.

She then picked up a paper from her desk and handed it to me. "This contains the list of familias currently recruiting and thier conditions to join." I saw various God's names from norse to greek to indian to japanese. All the familias had a condition that I didn't meet like being a specific level, being a specific class like a mage, swordsman or being a specific gender or being of a specific occupation like a gigolo or prostitute for gods like Ishtar.

Only a few familias stood out to me and those actually had reasonable conditions. But one that stuck out to me was the Hestia Familia with only one member. "Hey Eina-Chan what about this familia?" I said as I pointed at the name. "Hmm? Oh, the Hestia Familia. This is the familia of the girl you saved earlier today. The goddess of this familia is kind and loving but since she is not known that much like gods like Loki or Hermes people don't join her familia. Due to the lack of members it is also unofficially dubbed as the weakest familia." She explained.

Hestia huh. If my memory is correct she is the virgin greek goddess of hearth, family and home along with being the firstborn of Rhea and Cronus and the sibling of Zeus. How can she be an unknown goddess? She a pretty famous goddess back in our world.

I've decided, I'll join this familia. Soon enough I'll make it the strongest familia. "Eina-Chan I've decided to join this familia. Dont worry about contacting the goddess I'll go to them myself. Just give me the adderess." She was stunned for a few seconds, probably thinking that why would someone willingly join the weakest familia. But then she gave me a thankful smile, probably happy about someone joining their familia.

She wrote the address on a piece of paper and handed it to me. "Thank you Eina-Chan. Also before I go, where should I put the stones for exchange?" I said. "Stones? Oh you mean the magic crystals. You give them on that counter over there." She said pointing at the counter.

I walked to the counter and put the all the stones I collected in the tray. The tray was so full that some stones were falling out. The person in charge of the counter looked so shocked that his eyes looked like they were about to pop out. He pulled the tray in and pushed it back out with a pouch containing coins of different sizes and colors. "26700 Valis" He said. "Thanks" I said as a common courtesy and picked up my money and walked out the guild.

From what I gathered from my days in this world is that this is a good sum of money. I believe this can last me about 9 or 10 days.
