On One Side of The Road
Size fourteen, ran down, navy converse walked slowly up the paved hill. The sky was cloudless and It was hot, not to mention it was mid-day. That was irrelevant because nothing was going to stop him from seeing her. As he trekked over the hill she came into view. A smile bloomed on his face. She was everything all at once...wild, beautiful, alive.
"Park Soo Min!" His voice boomed. It was loud enough to desiccate entire paper cities.
On the Other Side of the Road
The girl rose to her tippy toes. White mary janes head down into the rock and cement ground. Her face lit up, like a campfire flame, as she began to wave in a wild manner. The familiar feeling overcame her, the one that felt like waves crashing into shoreline rocks. It was blazing, twisting, raw. It was all him.

He watched as she slowly calmed down, shrinking back in on herself. She was no longer smiling big and bright like the sun after a devastating storm. Well, she was but the smile was taunt and forced. He frowned, reached back, and grabbed the other girl who stood a step or two behind's hand. After looking both ways, then crossing the street, he lightly jogged towards her.
When he met with her, he raised both of his long arms that were by his side, letting go of the girl's hand. He tilted them at an angle so the girl before him could reach as she mirrored the same action to greet him as they always had. They grasped each other's hands. While locking fingers, he smiled and she scrunched her nose making the face he secretly liked but never told.
He let his hands fall and wrap around her petite body and he lifted her slightly so she could rest her chin on his shoulder. She took in his soothing scent of lavender and burning wood. The smell that made her heart skip a beat every time.
"Jun-ho" she sighed out and for the first time in a long time she felt like she could breathe.
"Hey Tiger." He said, calling her the old nickname.
They finally separated after a long time and he blinked a few times seemingly remembering his surroundings and the girl who stood beside him.
"This is my friend, Chae-won. Chae-won, this is the girl who helped me survive high school." He introduced.
Soo Min leaned around him to get a good look at the girl and waved. She was cute and tall. She had this sporty look dawning, a long bubble pony, a baggy sweatshirt, and cut off denim shorts falling to her knees.
She was the opposite to Soo Min in every way. She had naturally wavy brown hair while Soo Min had flat platinum blond bleached hair that had to be braided at night to curl. She had a longer oval shaped face with a sharp jaw, while the other girl's face was small and pinched at the bottom. She had wider lips, and hers were cherry picked and heart shaped. Her eyes were light brown, Soo Min had dark brown eyes. She was tall, the other girl was short. She was sporty and the other girl was preppy.
They were walking contradictions of each other. But one thing was similar, they were both drawn to Jun-ho.
"Hi Chae-won." She smiled. Then she popped up on her tiptoes again to get closer to Jun-Ho, who is 6'2, 's ear. "I like her." Then she lightly tapped him on the butt.
