°The new transferee crushes on his cousin's friend, not knowing the friend had been eyeing him too.

"You should tell me honestly, do you want to actually hang out or do you just wanna go see Junkyu?" Yoshi asked his cousin, who insisted on joining their friends' hangout. Haruto was younger than Yoshi and all his friends. He didn't share any common interest with them, didn't even know each of them well. The only time Haruto even talked to them was during his first two lunches in school, after transferring. Logically, he shouldn't bother but there was a tiny truth.

Haruto seemed to like one of Yoshi's friends, Junkyu. And the boy was in pure denial about it.

Yoshi and his two friends, Jihoon and Junkyu- they had been studying in the same school for three years and a half. Yoshi, the Japanese guy used to have trouble fitting in, but Junkyu helped him, consequently his best friend Jihoon. Yoshi's early years were smooth thanks to those two. And for that, out of gratitude and good feelings, Yoshi had been the best of friends with them, even after becoming one of the very popular guys.

Last year, Yoshi's cousin arrived in Korea, to live with Yoshi. He was still in middle school when Junkyu first saw him. They met a few times in Yoshi's house, they barely knew each other's names and faces. Haruto entered into the same high school as them, when all three were in their senior years.

Now the thing is- Haruto had a huge crush on Junkyu. In his previous school, he had always been the center of attention. He had turned down so many he lost count. Never did he ever think he'd like someone that early but- Junkyu, he was everything Haruto liked.

From his cute, pretty face, the tall, broad physique, to his unbothered, cool image but a bubbly, cheerful personality- Haruto liked exactly these. Junkyu liked to be pampered, Haruto liked to take care. Haruto loved honesty and Junkyu couldn't lie. Haruto loved to tease, Junkyu had the best reaction to all those. It seemed like they're two people designed solely to be each other's.

"Of course I wanna hang out. What else?" Haruto replied to his cousin, who snorted.

"I hope you don't deny the truth to yourself." Yoshi said with a sidewise grin, "Kim Junkyu ain't gonna be single for long."

"Why?" Haruto snapped his head, "Whom does he like? The Jihoon guy?"

Yoshi laughed, "Look at you all pumped up. No. But he's this fine ass guy. People would want to court him."

"That's a relief." Haruto said, "Because I can beat everyone else but the Jihoon guy."

He wasn't wrong after all. Junkyu and Jihoon had been friends for years. If they did like each other romantically, no chance for a newcomer like Haruto.

The two Japanese guys went to meet Junkyu and Jihoon. They were supposed to try some seafood. Haruto wasn't fond of that, but tagged along. Because he wanted to get close to his crush.

"Hey Yoshi! Hi Ruto!" Junkyu cheered once they walked in. Him and Jihoon were sitting face to face. To help his cousin, Yoshi took the seat beside Jihoon.

"Ruto, come here!" Junkyu showed the seat beside him. Haruto approached with the brightest smile on his face.

They chose what to eat for few minutes. Junkyu talked a lot with Haruto about it. Oh how the younger loved it! All three seniors ordered spicy food, while Haruto went for some less spicy ones.
